Anyone who’s car made it to Houston on the Siem Plato showing anything other than port processing? Getting antsy over here.

TYD has finally updated. My car arrived in Houston on the Siem Plato on 11/18. I now have an 11/26 delivery date and currently in port processing. This has been quite a journey. Can’t wait to post a few pics when my baby arrives.

My 4S is on the Siem Plato which docked in Halifax this morning. So far it’s on schedule. Expected in Houston on the 16th of this month. TYD is showing delivery on 12/17. I fully expect to take delivery right before or shortly after Thanksgiving. We’ll see.

5 days for me. 10/18-10/23. Also have a moderately optioned 4S.

Went from 12/10 delivery to 1/14 delivery today in TYD but the car also shows production completed. Maybe it’ll be here faster or some delay at Emden is planned?

Understood. Given crime stats in urban areas I wouldn’t be comfortable as a sitting duck either. I’m in New Orleans but I think having a hybrid or electric car may deter car jackers/thieves. My neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying and EVs are more common but charging infrastructure here is still...

My status hasn’t changed in TYD either. Maybe it didn’t happen.

Ordered July 22, went from 12/3 delivery to 11/26 then to 12/10 delivery. Freeze date was 9/27. I made two changes before the freeze date. In New Orleans.

Had a Panny Hybrid and really just wanted a new one but then I test drove the Taycan. Placed an order a few weeks later.

Fingers definitely crossed. I just sold my Panamera so the wife and I are sharing one vehicle. It’s not terrible but there’s one or two occasions when it requires creativity.
