Sounds like we got screwed in the same batch. I moved to stage 5, 2 weeks ago, and otherwise everything was going slowly.
Not going to lie, extremely unimpressed with my sales agent who I feel has fumbled every stage of the sales process, from dropping racist comments about pedestrians during...
When was yours produced / how long was it at Emden?
Mine was produced on March 4th, and now they are giving me a delivery of vaguely hand waving at late may.
Beauty of a car, and congratulations!
If my car is stuck without a heater, and it's delayed for several months, I won't accept it.
If they were open and upfront about the issues and delays, and could be bothered to actually communicate them, they would gain a customer for life. As it stands, I'm not giving 200k to someone who fucks...
His excuse was that staff shortages at Emden and on the UK side meant that the car didn't make it in time to clear the export before the last ship left, and it'll be a few weeks for the next ship.
Now I take that with a massive grain of salt as my SA had told me that he intentionally doesn't go...
I think it was like 3 weeks to go to stage 4, but there are some more delays, been in stage 4 for about a month, and was just told that the car is stuck in Emden for another 3-4 weeks.
Absolute insanity they won't let me go and pick it up myself, could have saved us all a lot of time and money.
Porsche SA's are some of the worst I've ever seen.
I have to reach out to them every time to get updates. Was supposed to take delivery of my car next week, and I had to ask him to verify the date, and it turns out it doesn't even have a ship allocated to leave Germany yet.
Then I had to call...
My car was supposed to arrive for delivery the 17th.
Sent an email to my SA on Thursday to confirm everything so I can get all the details sorted.
Went silent for a day, then tried to call me twice (missed as I was in a meeting), and only then I got the, "sorry I'm out of the office due to...
Mine is slated for completion next week and delivery ~17/04.
Kind of worried around delays due to the heater issues, but my SA assures me that my order is unaffected (not that I trust him at all).
Fingers crossed as we had a 4000km trip across Europe planned for late may.
That is an absolute ball ache, my condolences.
Maybe they suspect the heater shortage to be address in the next month (that is the distant sound of me coping poorly).
All in all I've been insanely lucky to only wait ~6 months (ordered late Nov 22), but also recognize that I've got to be one of...
What models did you guys order?
My SA tells me that my turbo s has no delays, will finish production next week and is set to be delivered by the 17th of April. No issue with the heaters or anything else.
Wondering if porsche is just desperate to sell me the car before I come to my senses and...
Mine was slated for production March 2nd-23rd, delivery April 23rd. I've already recieved the Vin number, but otherwise no communication from porsche.
Will call tomorrow to check everything is still fine so I can schedule my ppf.
Mine was due to lock in Jan 24th with production March 2nd, and delivery April 24th.
So far no notification on lock-in, but SA assured me March 2nd production date was still correct.
In the UK, I’m told its an absolute no-go to pickup in stuttgart. It’s a shame because I‘m actually going to be near stuttgart when my car is supposed to come off the assembly line, but the dealership was adamant that it needs to be shipped to them first.
I went to spec the b-pillar in racetex, and my SA told me to avoid it as the seat belt hits the same spot repeatedly and rubs, leading to denting and much higher wear of the racetex which apparently falls apart.
