Sounds as if it needs more than a re-set. Oh well, I'll just add this to the bug list I'm compiling and maybe by the time we're out of lockdown and I need to use the car more regularly Porsche will have come up with a proper fix.
Well what a surprise... I drove the car yesterday and all yesterday evening the app connected to the car with no problem. This morning when I try the app I just get the same "Vehicle not accessible" message again. I have tried logging in and out of the app but that makes no difference. Very...
Thanks I'll check that next time I drive the car if the performance doesn't return after charging. I presume that is not a user adjustable thing? Is it a known fault issue?
Thanks, that's very interesting that you have the same experience. Mine definitely feels like a 250BHP car at the moment. I wonder if it will get better with more mileage. My dealer insists that the car does some sort of automatic "running in" for the first 1,500 miles but has so far not been...
I've been in Sport+ the whole time and can feel it using both gears. I agree that 3 degrees is not great for the battery, but the performance drop I'm experiencing is significant. I can't believe it is just because of temperature - Taycans in properly cold countries would grind to a halt!
Thanks, that's interesting. My car is on charge now and I'll see if the performance returns when it's charged. I really hope it's not going to have to go back to Porsche for the second time in less than 250 miles from new!
This may have been covered somewhere on here before but I couldn’t find much about it.
Is it normal for the performance to drop off when the car is below a certain charge level?
My Taycan Turbo has gone below 30% charge for the first time and it’s as if I’m carrying an extra 2 tonnes. It’s...
Thanks for the replies. I have tried logging out and in again and it makes no difference.
Hopefully it is a Porsche Server problem. If I get time I'll drive the car again tomorrow and see if afterwards it will connect again. And then see how long it takes until it won't connect...
If I’ve recently driven my car the Connect app works fine. If I then leave the car for a day or so it will no longer connect to the app and I get this message:
I don’t understand why the car decides to become uncommunicative. It’s as if it goes to sleep after a while.
Please can anybody...
Just a thought, I don't know how the handbrake mechanism works on a Taycan, but could this be some part of the mechanism cooling off rapidly because of the snow after and allowing it to slip?
I had this on a Golf many years ago. If I parked it on a slope with hot brakes, as the discs cooled...
You need to log into "My Porsche" and in there under Services you will find the Porsche Charging Service. Register on that and your Ionity card should appear in the post about a week later.
I've just been out in the rain for the first time and the misting up was ridiculous. We tried every setting we could find and it still wouldn't completely clear. I'm really unimpressed. My Countach demists better and that's not an exaggeration.
And who at Porsche thought the electric vents were...
Mine's back at the dealer right now as for some reason the tracker system wasn't registered properly when I took delivery. Allegedly this was due to a Porsche system upgrade that was being undertaken at the same time as they registered it during the PDI - I'm not convinced by this excuse...
I think next to each other in 2 separate pouches, made a tight fit and joined together down the middle. This would fit better in a jeans pocket.
There could be a cut out on the top of the key pouch for the buttons.
And just take all key rings off the keys.
My Taycan is arriving in a few weeks and will have PCCB’s. Do these need bedding in in a certain way? I’ve read various things about the importance of bedding in carbon ceramic brakes but the Taycan manual doesn’t seem to mention it.
Has anybody received any advice from their dealer on this...
