It is - looking at $93k for a clean sale of a 21 Turbo S and about $72k for a 'rough' one - $21k is very very significant and is also what I'm pushing for
Appreciate that - it's a good thing I love this car lol - and it could've been worse, like the OP's accident. The one thing I'll say is that these things are built like tanks!!
Yes lol, it was a about 10 weeks ago, an F350 hit the girl behind me and she shunted into me. Just one of those things unforunately. Repairs have taken over 6 weeks thus far, hoping to get it back this week at some point and then start the deminished value claim
I can promise you, from experience, there is zero evidence required. If it's above 3mm in that strike zone that's what they'll do. I literally had this communicated to me by my service advisor and it was backed up by PCNA
This is the 3.33mm dent I got, right in the centre of the car
This is what the protection plate is protecting - there are no visible coolant lines, then run at the top of this 'membrane' - this was never taken off as part of the inspection and when my HV tray was replaced they never sent any...

Not with the HV Tray, the 3mm tolerance is there (in the middle of the car) because of the cooling lines that run under said tray, the guidance is >3mm and it's likely a cooling pipe is pinched.
I've been through this and it's really non-negotiable. I had no change in range and/or temperature...
7mm - wow!! The tolerance towards the center of the car is 3mm but apparently does increase the more you move away from the center.
As someone mentioned above, I've been here and unfortunately got the t-shirt!! My dent was 3.33mm and ended up costing my insurance company just shy of $42k to get...
