LOL. I swear that button wasn’t there last time I looked ;) Call me old fashioned, but I prefer the PCM colour wheel picker to the CarPlay linear picker.

I haven’t found a way to control the cockpit lighting from CarPlay. Do share.

I have to say that even though I have managed to get My Porsche to appear in CarPlay, I cannot see any situation in which I would want to use it. It may be useful one day, but today, nah.

I did the iOS 18.1 Beta update and now I see the My Porsche icon in CarPlay - in Purple Sky no less! Can I say with certainty that the 18.1 update fixed it… no. Several other things happened during the update process - phone reboot, me fiddling with CarPlay, and so on. Anyway, it seems to work now ?

I am doing the update to iOS 18.1 Beta to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for your suggestion. Strange thing is that when my iPhone is not connected to the car I see: but as soon as the phone connects to the car the My Porsche icon disappears.

I don’t have the My Porsche icon on my Apple CarPlay screen in my new GT. I had it in my old Turbo S, and am puzzled. Any ideas?

The fuzzy wheel is the only option on the GT though.

What version of the app do you have? I have v12.24.36 build 342 and iOS 18.0.1.

Account (app lower right corner) -> Settings -> App icon

Best thing ever… I can choose the colour of the app icon on my iPhone. This makes all the difference;) Turbonite icon anyone?

It is what I have done on my new GT, except that I have it assigned to the diamond key on the dashboard. I have programmed the key on my steering wheel to control the electric sport sound.
