    Taycan 4S vs. Turbo: Wham

It's a hair faster. They tuned it up to counteract the weight of the heavier battery. I think the goal was just to have the same 0-60 time regardless of which battery you pick.

    PPF regrets?

My daily commute involves driving on I-95 so I can't avoid the semis. My Macan picked up TONS of rock chips. I've done ceramic in the past but never PPF. I'm doing PPF on the front of my Taycan.

My 2020 4S MSRP $149k, loaner 2020 4S MSRP $113k. My opinion on what options are really important after driving a stripper 4S for a few days.

How do you have InnoDrive set? I have LKA turned off because it annoys me when not using InnoDrive, but I have Active Lane Keep on because that's basically the only difference between InnoDrive and normal ACC. Is InnoDrive better with both boxes checked?

This is the right way. Don't overspec a base car. Get the black blushed aluminum door still guards if they're free in the UK (they're free in the US & look way better than the standard ones).

    PMCC lost charging kW

That CPU temp isn't all that high (84 degrees Celsius) but I'm wondering what's going on that has the persistent space up to 92% full. Like anything that plugs into a wall, unplug it for a while & try again. Could be a transient condition. If it happens twice, thrill be more motivated to look...

    New software upgrade

Better to get the newer PCM build now Uber warranty. Porsche nuked my Panamera PCM with a satellite radio bug when the car was over five years old. PCNA stepped up to cover part of it but still total bs when THEY broke it.

Can you turn off the tiny overhead light between the map lights?

Advice on dealing with Porsche on New Taycan Failure

The "unless you're nuts" qualifier was an invitation for you to share your plans. :p I have several spots on my commute where I'd scrape in the even the stock "low" setting. Are you getting air on a RWD?

Model 3 vs. Taycan Turbo S Track Race

The Model 3 is a better platform to start modding with due to weight but stock vs stock, the Taycan Turbo S should kill it until it goes into limp mode. Like you mentioned, the Model 3 really needs suspension modifications & brake upgrades. Regardless, the Model 3P is a good platform &...

Help with RWD Spec build - options cost double in Hong Kong

Air suspension also lowers the car in sport and range mode in addition to offering better comfort in normal mode. I have all these options and if prioritize them in this order: - Rear axle steering - PASM w/Air suspension - ACC - Full leather - sport chrono Sport Chrono is cool because it...

Advice on dealing with Porsche on New Taycan Failure

Gents, F16HTON was one of the OGs of the Macan Forum & has all sorts of great knowledge to share. Very cool to see you here! How are you liking it so far? No tuning or lowering fun with this car (well I guess you could lower it if you were nuts).

Taycan 4S gets 323 mile real world range in Edmunds EV range test!

How long have you had your car? Th 90 mph CRUSHES range. It's just physics. I never got more than 17mpg from my Macan Turbo either. If you wanna have fun, you're not gonna get anywhere near the rating. It is what it is - you get to decide if you can live with it or want to get rid of it for a...

    RWD driving experience

It's all computers anyway. Just a design decision of how to tune the steering for each model. Probably more boost on the 4S to counteract what would otherwise be a heavier feel due to the front motor weight.

    Anyone used Tesla supercharger yet?

BMW already has inductive charging but it's a difficult install and it's sloooooow.

Taycan software update - reported problems post update

Can confirm. I stuffed towels all around the subwoofer in my Macan & it made the Bose much more tolerable but it was still not very good. The Bose system in the Taycan is a big step up. I'm sure they had a bigger budget.
