It may be heresy but I agree that the base model with RWD and without "excessive" power is "lithe and deft like a good Porsche should be."

This has happened to my car too. It's intermittent so I told the dealer to put it on the record so that if it happens again, it will be clear that it started under warranty.

I have had my 2021 Taycan for about nine months now and I can't believe my good fortune. Think how much Porsche spent developing this awesome car, and used ones that are often in superb shape sell for half their original price after just three years.

2021 to 2023 is the sweet spot for used Taycans. Don't overlook base models as they are wonderful to drive and have all the power you need in normal driving.

The base model has less horsepower but plenty of power for normal driving and I really enjoy the rear wheel drive and steering in the base model. As far as taking it to the track goes no problem, but you will be up against cars with crazy horsepower.

Don't overlook base model unless you're going to track it,, but the large battery is important.

What kind of paint did you use and how was the plastic prepared for painting?

Not my first EV but the nicest

This is my first Porsche and I've noticed that not everyone is happy for me. I try to be considerate towards other drivers, but it seems some people see me in my gleaming silver Taycan and don't know what to think. What is your experience?

I have a base model with less things to go wrong which I appreciate. Cars have become overly complicated IMHO.
