You're right, it is a service plan. Fortunately I have not bought it yet. As I read the document I see that it goes into great detail about what it does not cover and little about what it covers. It's deceptive that it is called "Porsche Protection Plan."

I am buying the plan from Porsche and so I am hoping that it will cover all the same things that the original warranty covered. Is that your understanding of the so-called Service plan?

Porsche requires the brake fluid in the Taycan replaced now. My 2021 rwd has 18000 miles on it. Why would the brake fluid need to be changed?
