I got careless and hit a curb. There are scratches on the 21 inch wheel. While hard to spot unless you’re looking for it, they annoy me. (Even though it’s my stupid fault. )
Can this be fixed or Are new wheels the answer. I meant to get wheel insurance but somehow it didn’t happen.
It’s very convenient. My wife has a Tesla and because you always carry your phone, there no looking for your key. It’s a small thing but really easier. The car still knows who’s driving it. The Tesla (and my M850) then lock the car when you leave. I wish Porsche had that feature.
It should be...
My 2025 Tacan is in storage for at least 2 months. If I have someone turn on the car for me, will it charge the 12 volt battery. I’m not there to put on a trickle charger.
im worried the car will be dead when after A couple months of no use.
I stored my car for 5 months, left it plugged in to charger and the 12 volt battery died 2 years in a row. Luckily I leased a new a new one. Next time I’ll use a trickle charger even though they don’t recommend it.
I wonder if this is relevant. WSJ says
Luxury’s luster is fading in China.
A sluggish economy, the austere political mood and the feeling among some consumers that pricey brands are passé have combined to end the boom that propelled China’s luxury industry in recent years.
Have you folks seen this car. It's half price of the Taycan in China and is a almost a direct clone. Knocking Porsche out of China. I don't think it's available outside China.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I’m still wavering. Sounds like you folks got a better residual price than I got. I’m wondering what the 84 month warranty costs.
I have a 22 standard Taycan, gentian blue with mission wheels. My lease is finished 8/1. I can buy out the lease now for 65,000, or get a new one for $100 more per month on the lease. There is still the $7500 credit in the US but trump may end that soon. I am also concerned about the warranty...
I left my car for a few months in my garage plugged into the charger and when I came back, the 12volt was dead. Couldnt open the doors or the frunk. The tow truck guy found A Spot under the dash for a temporary charge to drive it out of the garage.
I sure would like to see a side by side pic of the original and the refresh. It’s difficult to see the extent of the changes. Interior looks similar also.
Really good question. I have 2021 with low mileage due next year. The question for me is…you can’t buy a better car for that price , but is that the fair market value of a 3 year old Taycan. If the price is right , it sounds like a keeper.
Makes me wonder why did I lease in the first place...
