I'm interested in hearing what, if anything, others have done for wheel/tire insurance without going through the dealer. I seem to remember others mentioning it but can't find too much definitive using the search function. I've also entered it into the Google and found several companies that...
I'm sure others are more knowledgable but I think outside of a few standard equipment inclusions and/or option packages, it's the same car with a higher price.
I also just had 2 Emporia's installed - we also just picked up a MB EQE SUV for my wife. 2 50A breakers and hard wired. $450 each for the unit and it works very well. I originally wanted something a little more "flashy" but this unit is just as good as any other - unless it's installed in a cold...
I got mine installed last weekend. The video a couple pages back was very helpful. I didn't get any pics of it installed but the smallest curved piece between the mirror post and the overhead trim was the biggest PITA (maybe because I ordered a rear facing camera). The gaps aren't as tight as...
I think it varies. Mine was there for roughly a week before officially "arriving" into port. My boat left for the next destination, arrived there, and left there before it was processed in the system.
It's really all a guessing game. TYD will give an "idea" of a timeline but it's only accurate after the fact. So, if your TYD says leaving the port on 5/1 and arriving into your port on 5/11, for example, find the boat that most closely matches that and watch vesselfinder.com or fleetmon.com...
Not too long ago, TYD was listing the boat but it doesn’t seem that they’re doing that any more. It’s kind of a guessing game - find a shipping schedule (there was a PWL schedule posted previously in this thread) and then find the boat going to your port that matches closest to the TYD timeline.
Well, I'm happy to say I took delivery this afternoon. I got some basic pics but not worth posting so I'll wait to get some good ones once I get the tint and PPF done.
It looks so much better in person, as we all know. It's a sexy beast just sitting in the driveway.
Interesting twist this morning... as I previously mentioned, I thought I was getting 5.54 through the dealer. I was scheduled to take delivery of my car today at 4 PM and the finance manager called and told me the rates went up and I was looking at 6.39 (or something like that). I started to...
Obviously, the lower the better but I'm not disappointed with 5.54. compared to some of the rates I was seeing at the big banks. I think it was PenFed that had 5.39 when I was looking. Who knows... maybe rates will tank in 3 years and I can refi for the same term that's remaining.
Too bad about the 4.95 but I guess it could be worse. When I first got on the list last Summer, the SA was quoting 6+%, which was almost 2x the going rate at the time. More recently, I asked and he was say 7-8% and the Porsche website said 9+%. I was going to go with a credit union at 5.39 for...
I just got word from my SA that my car arrived at the dealer today (TYD updated to Step 10). Taking delivery on Monday.
Have you checked with the dealer? I was being told crazy high numbers and the Porsche website is saying 8% or 9% but when I told my SA I was going with a 3rd party he asked...
