Bringing my car in tomorrow. Do you have to bring your charger? In May, got a call to bring charger but I didn’t end up bringing the car in as they were having poor initial experience. This time, no call to being charger. As it’s a distance to dealership, just wanted to see if others had to...
I suspect it might be. I was scheduled for this update in May, but the dealership called me to reschedule to end of June as they expected a revised update. Letting my dealership sort it out first.
Here's what I did last night to finally get it working. If you try to just do the two finger reboot, the PCM will just give the error message of "please turn on the vehicle" despite the vehicle being on.
So, I locked the car and came back 30 minutes later (may be able to do it sooner). Start...
Well, same issue again this morning. Was hoping a PCM reboot would help avoid a trip to dealership but I have never been able to do the two finger upper right corner as described in the forums.
will make appt with dealership…
I would love to bring it in. In fact, had two separate appointments for the software update and got a call from my dealership to reschedule to end of June as they have had trouble updating vehicles with Taycans sitting in service for weeks. Doesn’t instill much confidence, unfortunately.
My Taycan has shown an endless “loading device manager” or “loading navigation” for the past 24 hours. Have turned off and on car to no avail. When I try to do a factory reset, it tells me to turn on the vehicle - but the vehicle is on.
I tried the two finger reboot at the upper right corner...
wish I had something to screenshot, but it was a phone call. Received the call to let me know that my update would have to be moved to June. When I inquired, she said a few Taycans have been sitting there for weeks unable to update software. She volunteered info that a new software was due out...
Received a call from my dealer today stating my scheduled appointment next week for the update needs to be rescheduled as they're "finding that there is an issue with the software update" and they're "having technical difficulty with some the current Taycan updates." Suppose I'll just hold off...
Definitely considered it! Thanks for the info.
We have two toddlers and need the electricity usage during peak periods when they get back from preschool at 530pm, unfortunately. Thankfully, have been able to get away with most charging at EA stations and used my home charger only when time is...
Been reading that people tend to have less errors using the Charging app over the Porsche Connected app. However, I've used the Porsche Connected app successfully each time with only one failure. For that failure, I then tried the Charging app which did not work either. Figured it was a...
$0.31443 per kWh for electricity + $0.06639 per kWh for "Electric Generation Charges" in California.
We're charged at $0.24986 for the first 315 kWh. We always go beyond 315 kWh per month, so the next tier costs $0.31443. I'm considering charging the vehicle above and beyond our normal...
