Well, my car was completed and shipped to the port at Emden on March 17, and was scheduled to ship out of there on March 27. Just received updated VCode schedule now ESTIMATING departure on April 24. My sales representative also advised me that the Emden port is closed down due to COVID-19.
As I mentioned on another thread, my Turbo was “born” 3/4 and reportedly arrived in Emden on 3/13. Last I knew, car was scheduled to depart Emden on 3/27 and arrive in Houston 4/17, with delivery in Minneapolis 5/1. But who knows?
I just received an email today that my Porsche dealer is closing through April 30 (other than for service). Don’t know if that will interfere with my expected pickup of car the first week in May. (BTW I’m of the YOLO school, I guess—though might not commit to buy such an expensive car were I...
Attached is the most recent schedule of ships out of Emden:
Dates are set forth in the European manner, with day stated first, followed by the month. (Marz refers to March).
Noticed, that only ship listed for Benicia is the Glovis Courage, which should have left Emden March 12 to arrive in...
We are all in this world-wide dilemma together, and there should be no room for recriminations (and yes, if making a decision today about ordering new Turbo, my decision might be different). That said, good news at least for those whose cars have reached V300 status. I just received word that...
My Turbo was completed March 4, and on V Schedule was supposed to arrive in Emden March 13 and ship out March 27. Granted delivery of the car is completely trivial in light of where the world is right now, I was idly wondering what is happening to shipping and delivery of Porsches to U.S...
I am having mine installed tomorrow. Do you have just have one side attached to a stud? That is, looks like you used the spacer ring (which I have pasted below) that allows for a 240 wall conduit to run inside the wall mount to allow for a plug in box to be hidden inside the unit.
There are...
Taycan Turbo and Turbo S are listed as still getting full $7,500 credit:

Presumably list was prepared before availability of Taycan 4S.
Thanks for the cross reference. I eventually understood most of what is posted on RennList—but it took some time. The post provides a cogent explanation.
My turbo supposedly went V 260 (into body shop) on Feb 21, with V 300 (vehicle completion) expected on March 13. That said, today I just received notice from my sales guy that my car received its VIN (so I guess today is its birthday?). BTW, last V Code print-out I saw had car expected to be...
Well, could be that a 14-50 plug is standard. I actually know nothing about this topic (never had an EV before), except what Porsche configurator offers and what dealer said I should order.
BTW, I originally thought the connection was a NEMA 14-50 plug, but I looked more closely at my Turbo purchase order and see I ordered a NEMA 6-50 plug. Also, in looking at the Porsche configurator (U.S.) looks like that is what is now available for 50 amp line.
I just made an appointment today to cash in on my wheel insurance for my 2017 Panamera 4S (so I can trade it in on my Taycan Turbo, which started production last week). I had a “wheel rash“ and want it repaired to get best trade-in.
Just checked with my dealer today--my Turbo dealer delivery was just pushed back one week — from May 1 to May 8. Also, dealer was told that the dates are "flexible" -- Oh well.
Just found out my Turbo (white with red/black interior) production schedule has been pushed back 2 weeks for every item—from “vehicle fixed” date (changed from 1/31 to 2/14) to “dealer inventory“ date (moved 4/17 to 5/1). Oh well, we in Minnesota just received our first demos this week, and...
