My Taycan is nearly 4 years old. It has held its range constant since new with temps being normalized. The key is adjusting tire pressures appropriately throughout the year.
My view is that non-OEM warranties should be marketed and legally sold as insurance NOT a warranty. These issues are handled as claims (which can be easily denied) and not as an entity (like an OEM) that warrants that the product is free of defects for a given duration and will stand behind...
Important to bring this into the dealer. With new tech, they will need to log complaints from real world use to fully shake down the system, handle repairs and make improvements.
After 3.5 years of ownership, I have only done high speed charging once. It's impressive.....I would not want to be sitting in a car that is taking in much more current than that.
Too much doom and gloom….these vehicles will keep on rolling for a very long time whether we own them or not. More independent shops will begin to support which will lower costs as we go.

Given that I am more DIY than the vast majority of those on this forum, I would offer that the service is as much about ease of reselling as it is about maintaining your vehicle’s safety and performance. I can do all of the regular maintenance items myself but have opted to pay the “tax” and...
I'd rather see them use their development budget on more "streetable" pursuits.....
Ideas from the peanut gallery to Porsche's Chief Engineer(not in ranked order):
- Fix Apple CarPlay integration for SoC
- Restore 11 Kw charging
- Increase efficiency while going back to .1 exterior design
My only grievance on the Cayenne EV is the price.....and maybe a little on exterior design (which doesn't make my heart go pitter patter, at least on screen). I trust that the S and Turbo are tons of fun to drive.
Inner tire wear is NOT an issue, it is how the suspension is designed....on all Porsches not just Taycan. It is a part of the steering/handling set-up. However, from left to right the wear should be fairly close to each other. This can be dialed out via an alignment service but it comes...
