Yesterday, I received 4 over the air map updates, and when I selected a charging station on my app, it showed up in my route...
But today, I received 3 letters from Porsche... I'll see what they say about what's next on the recall list. LOL
They do appear to take it seriously, haven't had any repeat recalls, and they seem to have settled down now.
My research shows that my VIN has 0 unprepared recalls. Is there a serial number or version number for the charge cable, and it says not to charge over 80%, until the remedy for the...
The actnitagauzer defribulater converter always goes into “rescue” mode when it senses a differential between the activator and the snub sensor.
The Tesla charger (home version) is AC not DC. They paid for it so I’m happy…
I had one of those adapters, and it killed my charger in the car. It's only a passthrough, so there is no communication with the charger. They fixed it, but said not to use it again. I would imagine that the Porsche one talks to the charger.
Just make sure it has had all the recalls and inspection, plus updates. I've been noticing quite a slowdown of all of us wanting to off the deep end, which means maybe they have things sorted. My 21st Porsche, I do really like it.
All you need to do is hit the park button again, or change the radio, then it will reset the timer. Since it doesn’t apparently have a walkaway then lock feature, you can’t even lock it from the app unless it’s off.
Watch it when you’re parked and on the phone, it will switch back over to the...
Between the stupid things here and the tariffs, it's no wonder anyone is selling anything here. I'm a manufacturer, and from everyone that I have talked to, sales of just about anything for the last 2-3 months was down 50-70%. Sales are starting to come back up, but anxiety with all buyers are...
They up side is that they don't repeat, and they are on top of everything. They paid for my charger system even after using it on a non standard adapter, saying that it shouldn't have failed. When it starts going back for the same problem is when I'll get pissed.
My failure was the charger, they apparently had an update that fixed the issue a few days later, but the charge from the home system blew the breaker and fried the charging system internally. $5500 and 7 hours of labor, but the dealer fought hard and got it replaced under warranty...
Nice mod. My old mechanic used to work at Porsche in Germany, he designed the solution of the tension chains coming loose with a simple oil reservoir. The patented it and they fired him, which is why they had the oil lines outside the valve covers on the 911s for many years...
Send this...
Yea, the screen says "CHECK ENGINE" (LOL) and we know nothing! When I explained all the strange things that happened in sequence, the tech started looking in a different direction. Being an engineer, and making recording consoles, Its always the "it's broke", and my reply is "can you be less...
I think that might have beed my issue, where the Breaker blew, causing the charge system to go bonkers because the power was removed on a non procedural way. The SC would say to the car that it is removing power and the car would respond, rather than the car cutting off a hot charge, as the car...
