Let’s form a list of errors and the service fixes so we know how screwed we are…

Curious why you want to focus on how "screwed" we are? I understand that mechanical platforms can break, have faults, and cause frustration. But there is so much more than just the mechanical issues that form the overall picture. Its the entire experience that includes the customer service you receive from the dealership.

The biggest problem I have faced with my Taycan has been a compressor fail for my suspension. Yes it was a major problem but my dealership handled it wonderfully and made sure I understood the situation and delivered what I expected with a Porsche relationship. The way they treat me means that I could take the lumps when they occur...

So no, I do not feel screwed, I feel valued. I understand shit happens, but that's life.

I tend to agree with RocketJSquirrel (great Username btw) and avoid the "pity party" and let's not forget, the experience any member of this forum has with EVs is likely less than 5 years, compared to the 50-60 years with ICE vehicles, so from my POV it is an apples and oranges comparison. I also think it is important to point out that some of the "problems" I have seen on this site are ludicrous. I will point a couple out:
  1. "I keep receiving an alert to 'Add Brake Fluid" does anyone else get this and what do you do?" - Here's an idea - add brake fluid
    1. "Follow up question by the original poster - "Does my Taycan have a Brake Fluid Reservoir?" - Err yes, just don't add brake fluid to the only other reservoir in the Frunk - that's for Washer Fluid and vice versa.
  2. "I just received my new Taycan and the Key has a big plastic piece on it, is that normal" - That is the dealer inventory control device - they forgot to cut it off before they shipped it to you. Call the dealer and ask if they want it back.
I have had my 2024 Taycan GTS for 8-months/4,000 miles and I think it is spectacular! This is my 15th Porsche since 1980 (yes I am a very fortunate individual). All previous cars/SUVs were ICE. Additionally, I completely rebuilt an ICE engine with my dad when I was 12 (Austin A40) and worked on 3-seperate Porsche racecars myself. So my knowledge of ICE technology is clearliy much greater than my knowledge of EV technology - so I do feel in the dark a bit every now and then. But I am willing to learn.

I am not minimizing some of the early issues with the Taycan. And let's not forget it was a totally new car, platform and drive technology so I fully expected there to be issues in the earlier models - I am not an early adopter - I wait a while. Maybe others should have done the same. I just sayin'.

The only yellow error I got was the "electric network" error after charging at a Tesla SC. Twice.
I was stopping the charge by using the button in the car charging port to unlock the cable.
Fix: stop the charge in the Tesla app instead. And the error never came back.

What I meant is if we build a fault/fix list, when someone sees an error, they can check and see what the possibilities are, as the warnings are very basic and non descriptive. That will indicate if it's a reset or a charger replacement. or how screwed you are...

I think that might have beed my issue, where the Breaker blew, causing the charge system to go bonkers because the power was removed on a non procedural way. The SC would say to the car that it is removing power and the car would respond, rather than the car cutting off a hot charge, as the car doesn't talk directly to the charger in that way.... This is why I wanted to start this thread, so when you figured out that a certain undocumented sequence is followed, there aren't any errors created.

Yea, the screen says "CHECK ENGINE" (LOL) and we know nothing! When I explained all the strange things that happened in sequence, the tech started looking in a different direction. Being an engineer, and making recording consoles, Its always the "it's broke", and my reply is "can you be less informative?" I like to know the issue. One of my engineer friends that made a few hit records always said "don't ever say it seems to work now. Find what caused it to break, fix it, and now 'it works'.."

I had my yellow circle last year, could not charge anymore, car completely dead. High voltage distributor was defect outside warranty: €8.900 repair, had 50% goodwill, still had to pay €4.450. Needless to say I was not impressed (understatement)

How come in was outside of warranty? Not a wear part right?
