Mamba Green and Cherry Red colors are gone

That was 2 years ago and sales of these colours may not have been as per prediction. Different markets different tastes but my guess is that in UK there weren't enough brave folk.

To ditch Mahogany is odd as (apparently) this is the most popular colour choice for any Porsche in China. More marketing hype perhaps.

Taycan buyers in China are younger in general. Mahogany is big on cayennes here.

most popular color I see, anecdotally, are frozen blue And berry. Also large female clientele for the electric Porsche. In line with China engaging more female buyers to the brand, hence the offering of more traditionally feminine colors.

Its a shame but they dropped Python Green too from the Boxster range (what remains).

Just been to my local dealer.
A couple of surprises.
First, someone has gone full Mamba but forgot to turn the callipers black!
Is it just me that thinks this is a terrible clash?!

Then as I was leaving a used white GT3 drove past me on the lot.
Porsche Bolton just took in my old 2008 993 GT3 in as part ex!
What’s the chances of that?
Still got the private plate I put on it with Swindon.

3 owners 36000 miles
It’s for sale. £90000.
I paid £83000 15 years ago.
Drove it out of the showroom just after midnight 1/3/2008.
Sold it when kids arrived 2009 for £83000
Happy memories.
I want to buy it back!

Green on the wheels looks horrific. I personally like the yellow callipers, it immediately shouts ceramic brakes to me.

I'm sad to see the loss of Mamba Green as a color option. To me, it looks amazing at any time of the day. This was taken just before sunrise this morning at the local grocery store....

That mamba green must be the best colour, even when dirty. My main regret with our car was not being able to convince my wife. She did accept cherry red however, which is stunning as well but only like twice a year... Has to be absolutely spottless to shine, rather dull otherwise. Envy those of you that had the balls or persuasive skills

I was slightly concerned Mamba may be on the verge of too bright for me until I saw it on a car and it was lovely.

Previously I had always chosen a darker green when available but I am so glad I went Mamba (sorry) and it does look great in almost all light conditions even not showing the dirt as badly as our Prius - which is a metallic dark grey very similar to Porche’s Volcano.

O ordered cherry red and then told not available. Like Crayon but wife's got Cayenne in it. Already have black so plumped for Frozen Blue. If don't like it I'll wrap.it.

Just noticed my local Porsche configurator isn't showing Mamba Green Metallic and Cherry Red Metallic as colour options anymore. Is this a bug or are others seeing this also?

Mainly arable around here, though a few sheep on the fields hilly enough to make cultivation difficult!

Removed indeed (permanently, not sure) but they won't have been popular colours (Coffee Beige should be axed too along with the Frozen colours IMHO) would be my guess and expect a few new ones to appear as they gear up for MY24. Let's hope Papaya doesn't feature!

Get rid of Frozen Blue? Heresy!
