I'd consider a Polestar 5. Direct competitor in terms of format, size, and power, for the lesser models anyway. Looks really nice, interior typical minimalist affair. I have a 3 and it's a great car.
I believe they are working on a Taycan GT4 RS or whatever the name ends up being. Whilst not a direct replacement, its in the same ball park. Be interesting to see what Porsche does with it's EVs given the recent, dare I say, "pivot" to a new EV strategy.
Nice one. Set your expectations on delivery date a week or two after they say to "avoid disappointment". I assume they make them from scratch each time.
I bought and fitted these recently: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186246928863
Fit really nice and look good. They fully replace the entire top of the wing mirror and it's literally a 10 minute job to do and I'm pretty clueless when it comes to stuff like this.
I run a business specialising in QA/Testing of IT systems. The number of organisations that have no real appreciation of this concept still surprises me. Of course now things are moving to the Cloud, they now think it's somebody else's problem when in fact, it's still their system and customers...
Lets hope it is temporary. I had mine in to the Sheffield dealer recently to have the "comms module" replaced as it had stopped talking to it permanently. Seems ok now.
This really shouldn't have come as a surprise. Typically with EVs you are looking at 70% of claimed range, my Tesla M3P did about 200, claimed 300+. Some of the more modern cars improve on this to around 80-85% from the reviews I've watched but I find range isn't much of an issue at the 200...
So there I was building myself an Audi to see how it compared to the new Taycan GT and noticed that it was significantly cheaper. After some investigation it turns out they are offering a 15k contribution on personal PCP finance already.
It seems to be a bit faster than the Turbo S and a bit...
lol, the brand is something that does have be concerned and I was thinking maybe I could take the badge/name about. I was even justifying it by debadging it but
There is that, that and the naming they are using seems related to phones as well e.g. Max, Ultra etc. I'm was happily resisting the...
I can fully understand why some people, certainly the earlier models, might opt not to given the well documented issues. For me, besides the connection issues with the app which can be frustrating, I've loved every minute of it, the best car I've owned and I still get a buzz from driving it...
I had a quote and they said they don't need the break fluid doing as its just been done as part of the recall. I wouldn't therefore expect them to be charging you for that at the very least.
In total mine came to about £650 in Sheffield.
