  1. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

The only vehicle I found to test drive was a RWD about 2 hours away. It did not have RAS or SC. I did not find the steering radius to be bad but I can't compare it to the RAS.
  2. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

Very true. I have definitely noticed this. Unfortunately, there are no nearby Taycans for an extended test drive. There aren't even any 4S or Turbos to test drive in the state that I have come across. I drove 2 hours just to test drive a RWD Taycan.
  3. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

Great points, thanks! I did configure it out. MSRP new is $126,610. I'm getting it at $120,995. It's essentially giving the dealer the tax credit but getting an extended warranty on a car that is truly hardly used at 700 miles. My head says get this one. My heart is what's making me question the...
  4. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

I'm flexible on the exterior color between white, silver, and blue. This one is white. The interior is the two tone black/limestone beige, which I think looks nice. I wouldn't mind black or gray interior either, but this one is fine.
  5. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

I have definitely looked into it and there is no indication this car has had any service issues. Looks clean and, like I said, the dealer has been excellent to work with unlike several others that were clearly totally focused on $$$$.
  6. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

What about Sport Chrono? Having that knob on the steering wheel to jump to Sport+ seems awesome and so convenient. Based on that, I am considering it a must have option but maybe it's not. I really could care less about the clock on the dash. Thoughts on Sport Chrono as a must have vs nice to...
  7. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

Yeah, that's what's bothering me! If I wait long enough something specced how I want should turn up on the used market I think. It's tough because I really like this white one I found EXCEPT for it not having RAS. And, I think in the current market it's reasonably priced. To top it off, I like...
  8. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

Thanks. I think you're right that it's decently optioned rather than light. It definitely has the really important stuff for me anyway but I realize that we all prioritize options a bit differently. For instance, I'm pretty flexible regarding the interior options. The interior to me will be...
  9. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

Thanks for the response. So, RAS isn't a deal-breaker but more of a nice to have option in your opinion? The car I'm looking at is $121k without RAS and I can't find a car with both RAS and ACC for less than $10k more. Lots of Taycans seem to have either RAS or ACC but it's rare to have both. I...
  10. Worth getting a 4S with Limited Options?

Given the supply constraints and crazy market, the only decent option for a 4S I have found is a very slightly used 2021 CPO 4S with 740 miles optioned with Performance Battery Plus, Premium Package, Sport Chrono, and Adaptive Cruise Control. It actually has more warranty years now with the CPO...
  11. MSRP Dealers (selling Taycan with no price mark-up)

Porsche Waukesha is no longer at MSRP, so they can come off this list. I just test drove a Taycan 2 days ago and spoke with Jeff in sales. They are now doing a $5k mark up on new vehicles. He was very apologetic about it and of course his GM insisted they had to do it even though he didn't want to!
