Yeah, this is what I have been using (with charging deselected). When I used it with a correct departure time set it used 5% of my battery to warm the car, which seemed excessive.

Well this mornings experiment didn't work. With a Preheat departure time of 8:45am, I checked the car at 8:10am and it was stone cold. Out side temp was quite cold at around 6 degC. So I am guessing the warming time for the timed preheat isn't the same flat 60min that is states when you manually...

Yes, I too had a cold car this morning. I left at 8:15 and had a departure time of 9:05. I'm going to set a departure of 8:45 tomorrow and see what happens. It is annoying that you can't just set the cabin to heat for 10 mins before getting in it. I have the Mini Cooper SE as well and that works...

Yep. Thing is my drive to the office uses about 10% battery. Using 5% battery to warm it for an hour prior to leaving doesn't lower the 10% noticeably (that may change in the depths of winter though maybe..) I don't tend to charge much at home as I can charge at the office most days.. Ah...
