To remotely check the SoC/charge level, there's some OBD2 scanner that claim to have LTE support. This would allow reading remotely the value from anywhere. Some claim to be compatible with the Taycan.
AFAIK none support an eSIM, they would need a physical SIM...
Tires... They're a complete mix-bag. If one looks at the 3 numbers giving the tire size, like "285/40 R20" - that will be... <width in mm>/<sidewall size in percentage of the width> R<inside radius in inches>.
Who's the insane person that created such a system???
I just received an email from Porsche with their "Cyber Week" offers. No car feature, only accessories (baby seat, clothes, roof box, key ring, car models...).
Nothing very exciting, to be honest: https://shop.porsche.com/ch/en-CH/c/cyber-week-all-products
Link for the USA...
Thanks!
Simple : use the weather and its freezing temperature. < -2° = everything stick to the road. But also : -2° = damn I should already have swapped those tires to winter wheels!
(also: the car is not that clean actually; I took the photo from further away and with 5x zoom, to get a better...
Oh nice, I'll have to check that next time.
Though I suppose the Tesla app (with subscription) gives a better price per kWh. And (shame on Porsche), it's better at updating the car charge level.
Last weekend, everything reopened (Furka Grimsel and Susten requiring winter equipment).
Then everything fully reopened a few days ago.
Lots of camping cars around Furka and Grimsel this morning; fortunately I was there before they woke up: empty roads.
Photos in "Location Location..."
Probably my last drive on Furka, Grimsel and Susten passes before they close for the winter. Fortunately this week was much warmer and everything reopened after last weekend's snow and closures.
Nice that you edited your original post, thanks! ;)
2022 ST, probably a base RWD like mine: I'm getting about 400km (250 miles) of mixed range. From 350km (220 miles) on the highway to 450km (280 miles) in city+country roads.
160 miles seems way too low.
Here, one doesn't see much of my Taycan, apart from the driver window. One of my favorite view in Switzerland (Rigi, Pilatus behind the Zugersee lake).
0 to 100km/h from 3,6s to 3,1s - 0,7G to 1+G.
100 to 200km/h from 9.8s to 5.2s.
Does it make it more fun in the hill curves? Probably not, thus not interested :)
Thanks!
On the webcams, it seems the roads have already been cleared :
Grimsel pass webcam, Furkapass east side webcam.
EDIT - Furka, Grimsel, Susten and a few others are still closed according to Alpen-Paesse.
Glad you enjoyed it.
But please don't jinx it for us ;) : it looks like this Sunday and Monday are going to be sunny. With the recent nightly snow, this could give great picture occasions.
Prognostics for the following weekend are good too. Hopefully there's still some good times ahead.
