I have it, even got the insulated glass to maximize the sounds inside. For the price I wouldn’t do it again, I think the meridian system on my previous Range Rover sounded better.
I can’t imagine having a lower car. I think the cross tourismo height is perfect in regular setting for speed bumps, driveways all of that. When first got it I kept it in lowered mode and it would scrape here and there. Once I kept it in Regular it’s cleared everything and the lift is a pain...
I just figured that out. I always read it as "Minimum" so it would keep going after that. Vs the Timer has a "Target"
so really you guys are just using the Profile without the Timer to get to the target as fast as possible.
I have yet to see where you can not have a timer in the general profile. Mine always says target charge + departure time.
Where can you set it to get a target charge?
the problem with the onboard timer/profiles is you have to set a time and it manages to that time. I've been trying to set my minimum at 80% and my target at 80% thinking that might just get me to 80% directly but it doesn't seem to work that way.
That is an Interesting post. I guess small discharges and small fill ups are good. I wonder why. But I’ll change my habit now with that. seemed scientific enough.
I assume the fast chargers aren’t great for the batteries?
I only charge to 80% but I do try and drain it to the 20% level or below. I don’t have that many instances where I need that much range during the week my commute is 5 miles. But I try and keep it charged up during the weekend.
even...
I just experienced this today, I didn't realize the temperature impact was that dramatic. and even driving around I'm losing 10% chunks vs the couple of percent a week ago when it was still 60 degrees plus. Now its in the high 30s to low 50s and my range has plummeted.
crazy...another reason...
man sorry to hear that. that’s my biggest fear. I also have a june ct 4s. no issues so far but keep us posted.
does it start right back up? is it like when your iphone just randomly restarts.
It’s a tight car for a family of four as a primary family car, if you already have something else bigger it’s fine.
the cargo area with the back seats up isn’t that big and the rear seat legroom isn’t that much.
im a family of two and with carpool it’s tight.
has anyone here had their Taycan for almost 2 years yet? I think the first model was released around then.
Any noticeable shortening of the range when charging to your standard max charge?
