Great news on the build slot. It’s such a subjective thing but I think all three of those choices will look great with the black GTS accents. I’ve gone for Neptune but only because we have a crayon Macan!
No @Sidicks , get that order in man!
I wonder if you could ask Porsche to confirm if its possible to get an aftermarket audio upgrade without invalidating the warranty, just in case you feel the need? They should be able to agree to that (although logic doesnt come into it!)...
Most of the Porsche specialist independents will sell a car like this for you on a sale-or-return/commission basis, if you are able to leave the car with them for a little while. normally this would cost around £5k including VAT and is the best way to maximise the value in the car in my experience.
Hi all
Is anyone else experiencing a delay while their car sits in “Custom Tailoring”?
my GTS is painfully close to completion. MyPorsche updated to level 4 (production complete) a week ago and gave me a VIN etc. DealerSA is saying that their screen has shown it stuck in Custom Tailoring for...
We just took delivery of a Cupra Born V3. Early indications are it’s a great little EV. It’s on the same vw platform as the id3 but a much more engaging drive than the id3. Much sharper handling and styling and very punchy 0-50mph.
I posted elsewhere about my own experience of selling a 4S in almost identical circumstances last week. 18k miles 2 yr old. I think I maximised by asking a well respected Porsche indie that I like to sell for me on a commission basis. Ended up costing me 20k net from purchase price to sale...
It is a really odd situation specific to the GTS ST in particular. Why launch the model with such a fanfare if the production numbers were going to be so limited. We are used to this with Porsche's GT range but its a really odd thing to do with a GTS model. I would say there are more 992 GT3s on...
It does seem quite random as to whether the stages / app updates for UK punters. Mine moved to stage 4 this weekend and automatically issued a VIN but as far as I’m told it’s definitely still in Germany.
I quite liked the novelty of it at first, but to be honest, I tend to run with it off most of the time. I now only turn it on when im in a built up area and want pedestrians to hear the car.
I think the depreciation is properly there now for cars that have been actually driven, and I have been increasingly concerned with the members of the forum who feel guaranteed an easy lucrative sale on their used 20/21 Taycans.
In anticipation of a hopeful new arrival soon, I just sold my two...
That’s great news @WGR . Mine is supposed to be on that schedule too but no information from my dealer. I had given up based on app status 3 but maybe I should be more optimistic!
