GTS colour

Hi
After 14 months of waiting I finally have a build slot for my GTS St. I am happy with my spec, but I am really struggling with colour. I have recently sold my 4s in Carrara white with black mission e wheels which looked great.
I am really torn between the Crayon, Ice grey and possibly the Neptune, my heads telling me that we could be seeing plenty of Carmine red on the roads. Does anyone have pictures/experience with any of those colours in an ST or CT?

Great news on the build slot. It’s such a subjective thing but I think all three of those choices will look great with the black GTS accents. I’ve gone for Neptune but only because we have a crayon Macan!

The car wasn’t launched until November last year, so not sure you can claim 14 months waiting

Of those colours, I think that Crayon will be the nicest followed by Ice grey, followed by Neptune.

I was only having a joke with you! But it’s actually 2 months out - it was a year to the day (yesterday) when the car was launched. ??

I'm in the same boat. I contacted my dealer very shortly after launch and got the order in in December 2021. I got invited to Silverstone, got a production date and then ... the order was cancelled! Anyway, here we are again, invited to Silverstone and build has just frozen with delivery in Feb 2023. Good news is that it's a 2023 model with the tweaks that go with that i.e. wireless phone, storage pack etc. How they could ever have made storage pack an option I really don't understand at all! FWIW, I have gone for Ice Grey. I've just sold my Gentian Blue Turbo which I loved but somehow didn't feel like I wanted the same again and, it didn't feel like a "GTS Colour" to me. I've seen a Neptune GTS and really like it but wanted as light a colour as possible. Dolomite Silver is too blueish for me, white's good but it's very "Mission E" and so I ended up at ICE Grey. Wish I had the courage to go with Mamba Green. I saw one on the coast and it looked incredible!

Dealers aren’t allowed to accept deposits for a car that doesn’t officially exist, but clearly plenty of us had expressed an interest or given a ‘letter of intent’ well before launch day,

I filled out some paperwork with my OPC months before the official launch date for the GTS ST… I also did this for the Macan EV (for my wife) last year… deposit paid on the GTS the morning of launch and if I’m to believe the screen shots from the OPC it’s due with them on Friday (25th!). I fully expect this to be delayed once again but time will tell!

Hi. I’m waiting for delivery of my GTS in next 2-3 weeks. It’s arrived at Grimsby Port yesterday in UK. I went for Crayon and I think that’s one of the best colours. But as others have said, it’s colour can be very subjective. I only keep my cars 6-9 months and advice from my friends in the motoring trade suggested GTS trim in Crayon as holding strongest residuals.

I have a CW with mission E wheels on order but sometimes fantasize about the Neptune blue with black RS wheels - ice gray is also a stunnner

Kinda biased here as I’ve gone for Carmine Red, actually never seen a Carmine Red Taycan in the flesh but seen a friends Macan & Cayman GTS and that made up my mind. Don’t actually think I’ve seen a used CR GTS on the Porsche site since I placed my order, I’ll let you all know how she looks as expected end of December, can’t wait ?

ps… original order was Mamba Green which I’d not told my wife or daughter about, then showed my daughter the MG, and she grassed me up to the wife…. Dad‘s ordered a Bogey green car…… keep the piece Carmine Red ??

Hi Jabbar, I am curious about keeping cars 6-9 months. Is that because you get bored? Or you think you can sell them with little or no loss? Obviously, the used car market has been weird over the past couple of years. But before that, it was clear that you lost quite a chunk in the first year. Except in the case of certain rare / exotic cars. Maybe that's what you buy? The Taycan GTS is probably in that category for the next year or so. Many more buyers than cars?
