Last night I charged my 4S to the recommended daily charge of 80% which resulted in a 214-mile estimate. When I toggled to Range mode, the car indicated a 228-mile range. Driving and road-tripping this car has been a piece of cake thus far. And with my brand Michelins, I wouldn't be surprised...
Email Kjell Gruner, the President of Porsche North America, with your story and concerns. That's worked for me. His email address is:

EDIT:
In light of Dave’s news that Kjell has migrated to Rivian, reach out to Simon Kuhnimhof at Porsche NA Customer Relations...
Yeah, the yellow calipers are nice to see as you walk up to the car, but the real joy comes from when you get behind the wheel — you’ll forget about those colored calipers in a nanosecond.
Easy choice — go with #1 if the price is right. The color of the calipers while aesthetically pleasing does nothing for the performance of a truly great automobile. The much higher price of the Turbo S is not justified as the 4S is essentially 90% of the Turbo S for much, much less money.
I’m sorry, but this lawsuit has a snowball’s chance in hell of succeeding. And even if it did, about 25 cents on the dollar will go towards the class — the balance will go to the lawyers.
I’d order a new Taycan.
The Taycan is a great car and there’s no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I get it that you’re spooked, but shit happens and it’s unlikely what you experienced will happen again. That said, I can’t argue against a 911, if you’re willing to wait a year or more.
Great question — I want it all; bodacious handling and 20% improved range through better rolling resistance. That said, I don’t track the car and I probably don’t drive it as hard as others, but an improved range would be awesome.
After 23000+ miles, my Taycan 4S needs new tires in the next few weeks. The car came factory installed with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 which I’ve liked. But I’m wondering if there’s anything better out there, especially if anyone has any advice or opinions about the newer EV-specific performance...
You’ve got some smart women in your life, so listen to them and get the Porsche Taycan 4S. That’s what I’ve got and I’ve never felt a nanosecond of regret. It’s plenty fast and the range is actually more than my previous car, a Tesla Model S 85D, which under the best of circumstances got only...
I expect a reasonable offer! If the knucklehead had offered me around $40K or so, they probably would have sold a car. As it is though, today I owe them a debt of gratitude. A quick gander at the Bring-a-Trailer website shows my car selling for between $100K - $150. The fact is, I love that...
Dealer trade-ins are a joke and a rip-off. Several years ago I was considering trading in my pristine 1997 911 Carrera S (993) for a new 991 variant. My local dealer offered me $18K for my 993! I was floored and I sputtered, “Are you out of your fucking mind?” as I fled the store, never to...
No, you don't need to stay in the car. I was notified of the update just as we pulled into a movie theater parking lot to see Barbie (which by the way had a funny Porsche reference) and it was done by the time we returned to the car.
Does anyone yet know what exactly is in this update? Did Porsche publish any release notes? I got mine the other day and I’ll be damned if I can see any differences.
If it's range you're looking for go with a Lucid. Much better looking than a Tesla, stunning interior, just as fast if not faster and crazy range. Having owned a Tesla Model S in the past, which I happily sold for my Taycan, there's no way I'd buy another one--the company is simply too mercurial.
