I'll do that. I've been paying attention to the range number to get a sense of things but I'll take a more data driven approach to get a sense of my average battery consumption.
Thanks to everyone for your input.
I’ve seen a number of posts showing 270 miles and more in range.
From what I understand the car gets a set of data based on your driving style and average KW/h and then approximates what your range will be at X SOC in X drive setting.
So far at 85% SOC my car gives me a range of 205 miles...
Can you set any charging parameters with the Clipper Creek or are the charging profiles within the vehicle and the Clipper creek follows them?
Porsche recommends not charging beyond 85% for day to day charging. Are you in “Direct Charge” mode every time you plug in and it charges to 100%?
Same here. I have ACC on my car but wanted the more complete features of Active Lane Keep and Innodrive which supposedly will be available as FOD on vehicles equipped with ACC. I bought an “in stock” vehicle so couldn’t spec it exactly as I wanted. Hope FOD includes these options.
Agreed. I'm trying to get the electrician to let me know what's involved in moving it higher. I was concerned he may have to do a new run from basement panel to garage. Not sure if he can simply splice in extra length and still stay within safety code etc.
Nice! I didn't know this existed. If I can't re-install the outlet since it may require to do an entirely new run from the basement panel to the garage I'll go with an extension. Only concern is safety or loss of output if I introduce an extension...I'll have to research this bit thanks.
I'm picking up my car Saturday. In trying to be proactive I had an electrician come in and install a NEMA 14-50 with a 50A breaker on my panel before taking delivery of the car.
Not very smart of me...the NEMA 14-50 plug in my garage is installed 3 feet off the ground. Only to realize the...
Good points. I agree. As pointed out by my salesperson, Porsche will always design to maximum efficiency so even if the range were to be impacted in the slightest way this would be a design consideration.
For the end user the minute details such as drag coefficient to the decimal point...
I've seen a few threads mention this but none really discuss this in great detail.
All the wheels offered from Porsche have a closed design for minimum drag to improve the range. This is a choice Porsche has made and it seems logical. On the other hand the signature Mission E wheel is a very...
Can anyone actually confirm that Innodrive will be available as an FOD upgrade for a car fitted with ACC? I saw a thread confirming that the 2020 will be able to have FOD and that Innodrive will be available but it seems a little speculative for the time being?
