Had to do this today as second remote option didn’t work for me and our other Taycan had LTE. I’ll be honest I wasn’t looking forward to doing this as I’m not very good with this kind of thing especially on an electric car.
I decided I would do it and followed the instructions (which are...
I might be the rarity in this but both my taycans I just drive up to IONITY charger and it just works plug and charge. I don’t think I’ve ever used my card.
I’ve done this too. Thought it was a no brainier. Why would anyone want to pay standardmy biggest and only gripe is I can no longer automatically pre-heat my car in the morning. Not a huge deal but I can manually do it if I remember.
from what I remember reading they work some EVSE otherwise...
I have had no problems. Maybe slight delay (longer than normal) to connect but all good otherwise.
My friend car however won’t start and had to be craned off his driveway to then be taken to Porsche east London
they told him they are aware of the situation but currently no fix
i think they are doing all of that to blend the carmine red paint as apparently it is very obvious unless blended well across multiple areas.
I think they said they were taking the bumper off as it doesn't need painting but cant remember for sure.
It has now finally been authorised to be...
It is really healing but at least no one got hurt. My 5 year old was in the car too but he barely noticed it and is fine. Everything else can be repaired.
From what I understand it is frame that is being changed but I could be mistaken. The ppf did its job And paintwork is fine even though...
Hey all,
I was recently reversed into by my parents neighbour whilst I had already reversed out established and ready to drive away.
damage didn’t look too bad but I was also trying to be nice to the neighbour for my parents sake.
had it go to my mechanic the following day to be assessed and...
My friend who had this issue and was told it would be repaired by today has now had serious issues. He also has vehicle tracking and now his car won’t start. He has plenty of power but effectively the car is immobilised.
vodaphone are blaming Porsche and vice versa but meanwhile his car is...
I would replace both and take I damaged tyre as emergency spare
The car has to torque and power to risk skidding. After all it is your only contact point with the road and you don’t want different grip levels from tyre to tyre
my CT4 has it and Hatfield didn’t say anything. In fact neither did Silverstone. I leave the Bluetooth fob in the car when it goes to the dealership so they don’t need to enter codes and I don’t need to put it into valet mode.
it did use to cause issues as @MTGBUK said but they had sorted that...
We out our keys into a faraday box even when we didn’t have comfort access. My GTS came with comfort access software enabled even though we haven’t turned it on.
We’ve tested it by placing a phone in there and then calling it. It didn’t ring so we know it works. I don’t use a pouch as my keys...
I may not be correct and what I saw in my GTS might be coincidence but I recall recently cleaning my front windscreen with a long press (I was testing to see if my washer system was working as it should - it isn’t and is getting looked at soon) that when I got out I saw washer fluid dripping...
