I have a question for the forum: I have a CT4S 2022. Have you seen at outside temperature below 10 degree celcius (14 F) low recharge performance (less than 100KW) on the DC recharge on your Taycan at 800 Volt regardless of the battery state of charge and even if you have preconditionned the...
Hum..... My specification on my car built was a 11KW charger. If my memory serves me right, they may have been on the first built (2019 - 2021) only a 9.6KW charger. I had never rechecked the charging rate in AC in a while and only did it because of my DC charging issue. I suspect like you...
Has anybody got this problem and if yes, how did it get resolved? My AC charging is limited now to 9KW when I was charging in the past at 10,5KW and when I try to charge at Electrify, regardless where I go, I get limited between 65KW and 75KW maximum, regardless if the battery is very low...
There is no place stated they will exchange your battery unless a major fault is detected. In fact if a fault is detected they would just change those cells simply. If no fault is detected your battery is good to run for the long term with no worries. You are not reading properly the recall.
Well I agree to disagree with you. It is clearly stated when you start the process that your car cannot be driven and in fact must be lock and you wait. So if people takes the time to read rather than rushiing out, they wouldn't have any issues. It is too easy to blame Porsche like that.
I tend to agree. User issue. You should have unplug your car, wait for the update to be done and finished and then you drive. If I use an analogy: Would you think you can do a Microsoft software update while working on your computer or an Iphone IOS update while still wokring on your Iphone...
In Sport+ you also stay longer in the first gear before it shifts to second than in Sport mode
The one mode that is now with not much change is between Normal and Range. Both now stays in propulsion mode and starts in second gear unless you press it hard, and both will downgrade to first gear...
It is the proximity alarm. If your relative speed to the car in front of you is too great it will alarm you. I have been in such a situation a few times but my brake worked really well without any issues. I would recommend you get your car to a Porsche certified dealer for inspection as this...
It is the price of EA only. You can check on their web site. If you charge very regularly at EA it might be worth it but you need to calculate. If it is occasionally only which is my case I only renew my connect but didn’t pay the extra for getting a premium price with EA.
I would assume the vast majority of the cost is to renew the cellular connection with the cell service provider. $319 is about 27 per month which is not very expensive for a cell data connection service.
Please do not forget that the PCM software is not the one controlling your car. The battery and motor are controlled by an internal software completely independent from the PCM. So it is possible they upgraded your card engine/battery control software to 2025 but this will not be truly visible...
Charging rate depends on the battery temp, pre-conditionning which increases in fact the battery temp, your outside temperature and very importantly your state of charge when you started the charging. Finally is this a 400V or an 800V charger. If it is a 400V charger, did you buy the 150KW...
Ultimately the question is why charging at 100% if you do not need the full capacity. Porsche recommends 85% generally unless you need to travel far. Also, you can connect your car every night to get that 85% fresh from the start every morning and you will not damage the battery.
You need to check the KW and not the kilometers. Kilometers will vary based on your driving past experience and means not that much. The KW will be precise however.
