I have a question for the forum: I have a CT4S 2022. Have you seen at outside temperature below 10 degree celcius (14 F) low recharge performance (less than 100KW) on the DC recharge on your Taycan at 800 Volt regardless of the battery state of charge and even if you have preconditionned the battery to reach a temperature beyond 20 degres celcius (68 F). I have got one try recently where even at 20% and the battery at 30C (86 F) the power never got beyond 75KW. I have got several other tries where the battery temperature was between 10C (14 F) and 18C (65 F) with a low state of charge and still the same result (below 75KW). Porsche tells me not only the battery termperature is taken in consideration when charging at low outside temperature, but also the exterior temperature. They cannot tell me if this is since they installed the ARB6/7 software, which personally I suspect plays now a role. What is your own experience please. Even in my garage at 5C (41 F) my AC charging is down from 10.5KW to 9KW, which was not the case in the past, but I admit I had never checked in a while now. They have no great explanations for the latter. in fact, they don't seem to know much about that new monitoring software as if it only monitors or do much more. In my case I didn't have a battery issue when the ARB6/7 came out.

Thanks

I drove mine cross country through the freeze where there was all that news about people having trouble charging in Chicago two years ago. I had no issues at all that were the fault of the car. I used EA for most of my charging. At one of my stops a guy with a Rivian complained he could only charge at 9kw on the EA DC charger and I got full speed. I did have one not-great charging experience during that ~800 mile drive that seemed to be the charger and not the car - a Shell station where the 150kW charger would only give me 45. I used preconditioning for all of the stops and by then I was in PA and it was not sub-freezing anymore so I couldn't think of a reason to blame the car.
