I have original battery and never got a battery repair.
Why would I post my SoH if I got a new battery?
Really? because I have a good SoH I need to be incompetent or a lier ? Just so you know, you don't have to be an engineer to do an OBD reading (even though it happens that I am an engineer)...
Buy the Sport Turismo, it is very practical and very good looking.
Best car ever as a daily/family car but also as a sports car (look, handling and driving experience). I still couldn't find better.
However the Taycan had/have 2 big reliability issues: the heater that can fail which they fixed...
If you can get some news about this, it will be great https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/porsche-considering-retrofit-of-some-2025-taycan-improvements-to-pre-facelift-model-battery-management-system-cluster-charging-screen.21070/
100%. One of the reasons I chose the Taycan (obviously among many others) is the 22kw that has been very useful when visiting cities in Europe. Just reimbursing the option cost won’t cut it for me. My preference is still that they find a way to fit another reliable 22kw, if not, compensation...
That’s a good news. It means that there will a be a new part and I won’t be surprised if there will be a recall at some point. Similar to what they did for the heater. They extended the warranty 1st and then they did the recall.
Oh this is a very bad news. The 22kw OBC is so useful.
Mine broke last year and I was hoping that Porsche will do a recall at some point to replace the part with a more reliable one. It was the only thing left that is bothering me with the Taycan.
However it seems that they took a radical...
Pirelli PZ are very bad in terms of longevity. My front tires were worn out at 18k km. (21 in RS Spyder)
Goodyear F1 Eagle Asymetric 5 is day and night compared to PZ. After 15k km I am seeing very little wear. I expect 45k km out of them
Does this mean that after the update there is no way to get Porsche standard Regen on?
Based in the last feedbacks, it looks like Prj setup is a great option for one pedal driving in the city especially with stop and go heavy traffic or annoying red lights. However I always used Porsche Regen...
What I have been told at some point by the dealership, anything you buy for your car is registered against its VIN. So if you officially paid for an upgrade to 22kw OBC for your car, that part is officially part of your car now. You should make your dealer ask for the extended warranty if they...
My range started going up since I started always driving on Sport mode with Regen on for a sporty feeling. I also disable partially the PSM to put in sport mode to have a bit of spin. Also I think I need to change the rear tires they are pretty worn.
So for a Porsche you need to do all the wrong...
Thanks for sharing. That’s a good 1st step. Hopefully they do a wide recall at some point as 2nd step as they did for the heater.
I have to say the 22kw OBC is the one that is left and worries me. I had it once and I am not eager to experience it again
Once they fix it, I will be happy to keep...
I made same progress in case it helps others!
I deleted all timers and created them again yesterday. This morning the MyPorsche app started displaying an
interesting information. It is saying that my car is in UTC timezone (which is not true, the car is just next to me in Paris UTC +2).
So...
Thanks for the reply and all the details!
In my case it might be different then. I did a simple test where the car had a Soc of 55% and I configured it for 60% for 7am in the morning. The car started very late (no way to reach the target with my 11kw) and it was at 58% at the target time. Also...
@Fish Fingers apologies I am reviving this old thread, have you ever been able to solve this problem?
My car started having the same issue. When I had no issue the car would finish charging to the defined target in the timer around 1 hour before the defined time, now it just starts too late and...
I wonder whether their decisions would have been different if the company didn’t go public. When you are in the stock market you constantly need to show good numbers (or at least the best possible numbers). So even if they know that investing ressources in an older model is probably the right...
When mine died it wasn’t after a long drive. It was charging a few % in my garage after I used it for 10 km in the morning.
Also when it happened to me it wasn’t just that it couldn’t charge anymore. The car just stopped moving and then the 12v battery died after 48h. It was a nightmare even to...
