Wow. Mine sat at Emden for 3 weeks and I thought it was long. It ended up on the Medeteranean Highway which landed in RI last week. I'm hearing tons of delivery delays across every manufacturer now unfortunately. Porsche is prioritizing the Taycan though.

From my understanding, it won't necessarily change status and at one point will just show as being on a truck - probably this week for you.

Which port? Porsche issued guidance last week to prioritize "sold" cars for the updates - so should help move things along.

Jeez, that's terrible. If you haven't already, I would suggest exploring compensation options from Porsche/dealer/etc.. Porsche NA has approved free scheduled maintenance and other similar compensation before on a one-by-one basis (dealership would have to approach them for it).

Not sure - I haven't really bugged the dealer. Someone who's ship was 10 days ahead of mine just had the car put on transportation to the dealership - so seems like I might get it in 2 weeks or so; hopefully.

I know there are stop orders and other delays, but has anyone in the US, specifically in the Northeast taken delivery recently? My car is at port in RI, and I'm just trying to estimate the possible delivery date.

From what I'm hearing, deliveries might be delayed a bit further then original expectations (port-processing & chip issues will catch up). It all depends on how desperate the dealership is to move the car. On a percentage basis, a highly optioned one doesn't necessarily mean a bigger % discount. As always, if anyone is looking for a deal (in the US), ping me, and I'll connect you with whatever GM has the best deal at the moment.
