Completely agree. I have done this on a couple of houses and just ask for a NEMA 14-50 outlet on a 50 amp breaker.
I don’t tell them whether I’m going to hook that up to an on-demand water heater, an induction cooktop or an EVSE :)
Still moored in Veracruz. But next destination is now updated to Cristobal, Panama - although the ETA is obviously wrong.
Hopefully we will set sail any minute now towards the canal.
Has anyone been able to get a location on RCC Classic? It should have been arriving in Veracruz already, but based on what I can find, it looks like we are still sailing towards Veracruz?
My car also arrived in Emden on 11/5 - and I made the RCC Classic. My TYD still says it’s in Emden but my SA confirmed that it made the ship.
Fingers crossed you made the same ship!
Laurent,
FWIW - I spoke to my dealer this morning. I am on the RCC Classic as well. My car will be in Benicia on 12/19. My dealer says his system says they can get the car transported and delivered in Salt Lake City before 1/7/22.
I’m on the same vessel - and my TYD didn’t change either. I can see that RCC Classic went to Bremerhaven. I wonder if TYD updates when the vessel is departing for the US? Just speculation. Does anyone know what the ships are doing in Bremerhaven? I assume they are loading cars from other...
Thanks for sharing. I am on the RCC Classic and it just left Emden - that's totally per your schedule... If the schedule is right, then it will go to Bremerhaven first and then head across the Atlantic to the West Coast. I'll be keeping an eye on the vessel tonight. Since it's scheduled to...
The Siem Cicero just left Emden and is heading to Davisville. According to Marine Traffic, the ETA is 11/22. Exciting for those of you on the Siem Cicero.
If loading the RCC Classic takes the same amount of time as for the Siem Cicero, we should be leaving Emden Friday morning.
