Given Electrify America is making strides, is it still worth it to option the 150 kW/400V DC Charger?
I was told to option it since Tesla might open up its network. But two things -- that might not happen and even if it does, is it moot given EA is picking up steak
Yes , I know it is only...
Why would you want just Taycan and not include the Turbo? Most people want to highlight that part. The ones who ironically want to remove the badging are the ones who get the Taycan.
Just FYI. I went to a showroom and
One last comment. You stated the most important thing to you was having ACC. If so, don't let not having RAS ruin the fun. Yes -- RAS will help you make a tighter U Turn but it is not like you will crash the car without it.
Sounds like a great deal. In my area, I am seeing dealers charge a $15k premium just to be put on the wait list. And used Taycans going for $140k. Even some RWD cars are fetching a nice price.
As far as RAS goes, one of the posters said it best. Go with your gut. You will find for and against...
Problem is with demand being so high, there is no room to negotiate. In some ways consider yourself lucky -- at least they are not charging over the MSRP. This way at least if you do spend more, it is not just money going to the dealer but at least a few nice options for you. Good luck.
Have you heard of folks having more maintenance issues with RAS? I did read about a Dad whole daughter curbed the back tired and ended up screwing the RAS up
Peter. I lot of debate over RAS. And most of the folks who justify it comment on the length of the car. It is basically like driving an SUV (Audi Q7 or Acura MDX). And those tend to drive okay without RAS. Based on your experience, is the car that much harder to drive without it?
Perry. What do you think of the InnoDrive? Have you had a chance to test it yet?
Incredible car. I really like the Olea leather option -- a much deeper black color than the "normal" leather
...seems like once a lemon, it will always be a lemon. And every time something goes wrong, even the tiniest squeak, will make you think if it is a real issue or something imagined. I would turn the car in , go for the repurchase....
But of course a personal decision. Since you have a loaner...
