Now you are talking!
Yes -- someone on Reddit just posted that his dealer told him there is a 3 year wait list. Now he was immediately pounced on -- not him but his dealer -- but while the "3 year" timeframe can be debated, there is no doubt the next set of allocations might take a while...
Thanks for this. Right now, I am fortunate to have a 4S to be delivered in July, although I suspect that it will be pushed out for the reasons you mentioned
So will hold tight. I just don't want to switch out now and risk losing my current allocation. My understanding is you can change specs...
Thank you all! Very helpful. Perhaps in a few years, I can upgrade to the GTS. And while tempting to add the Sports package to my 4S, it would be $5K. I would rather use the money to add things like PTV+ or RAS. (W1NGE -- I think you would agree ?).
But that said, the look of the GTS is...
Is the body of the GTS a bit different than the 4S? It seems to have a sportier front and bumper.
Any other major differences to the body?
If I were to add the Sports package to the front and rear of the 4S, would this be a good idea?
For whatever reason, I am digging the more sporty look...
Question since we are talking builds and freeze dates. I have a 4s that has been allocated but freeze date is still a month away. Would I be able to move to GTS? Or would I lose my place in line? Anyone know?
No you should not. Unless you really need the money, you shouldn't. On the other hand, if you still want to, you should. Why? I am going to be a first time Porsche owner soon. And from my limited time on this forum, I have come to appreciate the passion people have for these cars. And also, the...
Another good one to watch -- look up Nick Murray's review of the RWD. Basically he says the same thing -- RWD with PTV+ and Air Suspension
Finally, what is your budget? You can spec a pretty nice 4S (with RAS) for $117 to 120k. Let me know if you need help.
Skip it. See pics. I think the dash just looks cooler without it and really brings the uniqueness of the Taycan to light.
Functionality-wise -- you don't need it. You get three big tubes of information on that wonderful curved screen. And the resolution and graphics on the HUD are just not...
Sir. Might I offer the following based on my recent experience --
1. Don't go PDCC. Your wife won't need it as a daily driver. And my opinion is you won't either. And this often can cause motion sickness
2. Maybe go for RAS. I know people (and I respect all of their opinions) swear by this but...
