Glad that your SA is on top of it. Can't beat daily updates!
I'm in the same boat as you (traveling next week) but lucky for me I'll get to do a work road trip to Nashville from North Georgia in the car. First work trip that I'm actually excited about lol
My TYD has disappeared altogether now. Probably because I signed off on all the paperwork on Friday. But it never did update from being on the vessel.
Dealer sent me some pics of the car. Waiting for PPF tomorrow morning and will probably pick up in the afternoon.
This is Ice Grey Metallic...
Mine was "ready for transport" a day after it arrived in Jacksonville. Hard to tell given the holidays but it took less than a week to arrive at the dealer.
Mine hasn't been delivered yet (if I wasn't getting PPF it'd be ready tomorrow) but my TYD hasn't updated since showing "on vessel". TYD delivery date is still 12/17.
TYD is completely useless after the car's on the boat. Mine still shows as being on the vessel with a delivery date of 12/17.
Meanwhile, I went to the dealer today to get the paperwork out of the way and the car has already arrived. They just need to do PDI and PPF and I should have it early...
It looks like the Michelin PS's aren't available in 21" anymore. At least according to Tire Rack.
I've ordered the new Goodyear F1's asymetric 5's to go on my aftermarket wheels (when they get here). Hopefully, I won't get the range loss that you experienced.
Last week my dealer told me that once they're invoiced for the car they'll have me come in to do the paperwork so that on delivery day I just pick up the car and go.
My guess is that they're only invoiced after the car clears port processing.
Southeast folks (excluding Florida peeps),
Are you guys running summer performance tires or all seasons on your DD Taycans?
I live in North GA and, while I work from home, my drives will normally be to Charlotte, Raleigh, Nashville and ATL.
I've ordered summer tires for my aftermarket 21"...
Butler Tire is recommended by my dealership. I've taken my vehicles there before as well. They charge a bit more but have a lot of experience working on high-end cars.
I experienced this "server error" message on Friday. It didn't stop my car from charging, unlocking or me driving it and I was 200 miles from home.
So it's being blown out of proportion.
@fgwinn appreciate the info. I may submit my info and use the build sheet as well since it worked for you.
If you have any tips on anything you think I should or shouldn’t do let me know. It sounds like an annoyance to not be able to login and I’d rather not have to do a service visit since the...
