For anyone wondering, when you get the Mission E wheels they come with "monochromatic" center caps unless you get a Turbo S in which case you get the colored center caps.
My first reply was assuming that the car was being sold in the state it was in when it was returned as a lemon. Has the car already been sent back to Porsche and/or repaired at the dealer? Or do the problems listed still exist?
Here are the things that would worry me.
1. Most likely the dealer already tried to fix it several times
2. Electrical issues can be very hard to diagnose
3. Parts availability of semi-conductor parts
4. Manufacturer warranty on a lemon? Seems unlikely
5. High cost vehicle but if it's a brick...
I have no first hand experience but it’s worth giving your phone a reboot if you haven’t recently. Most of us probably just charge it every night and hardly ever restart it. I’ve definitely had this fix similar issues with other cars.
Brakes are under-appreciated for the safety factor, plus they’re one of the most impactful visual elements you can upgrade. Of course the price is outrageous when you factor in bigger wheels as well.
Almost everyone seems to appreciate the 4-wheel steering in both high and low speed situations.
If we get 5-10 people to post I will start a spreadsheet and we can try and see if there are any patterns
Build Code: PNUQKAH3
Lock Date: 9/23/2021
Start of Production: 10/15/2021 (estimated)
Delivery Date: 12/10/2021 (estimated)
Why does it seem like many of the delayed cars are Cross Tourismos? It would be interesting to post build codes along with order dates and delivery dates to see if we can determine which options are slowing things down.
I already saw this. He’s just saying that’s why the battery is at 20%. The battery wasn’t hot when he did the run.
20 minutes straight of hard track driving is a lot more than a handful of quarter miles.
Based on your and everyone’s replies it seems to corroborate my initial claim that having these features enabled should save on brake pads. Am I misunderstanding?
Have you seen any test results from people doing 10+ consecutive quarter mile runs? If so link one. I looked but only saw one done at 20% battery but it wasn’t done after consecutive runs. If you can find one I’d love to see it. I have seen no proof this problem is fixed, just hearsay.
