Seems like they could both easily engineer it as an option you could enable or disable based on driver preference. I’ve gotten used to it on my Model S and would probably enable it on my incoming Taycan (if there were a button for that).
My original tracking documentation showed a "vehicle fixed date" (V250) of May 13, 2022. But, when I asked my sales representative to make one additional change back in late-April, I was informed that this date had been moved up to April 26 (and the build had become "unchangeable"). This was...
If you can make it happen, the solution is “both.” I’m going on two years with a BEV as my daily and a 718 GT4 behind that as an occasional use vehicle. I won’t give up either without a fight.
Lovely build. Is your steering wheel rim leather, or Race-Tex? Would appreciate another good picture of it, and maybe the option code from your build sheet, if it's the former. (Dealer rep is currently telling me that Race-Tex rim is MANDATORY if I spec the carbon wheel...but I don't believe...
I am having this same fight with my dealer rep right now. Would absolutely LOVE the carbon wheel if I can have it with a leather rim. If it's Race-Tex only, it's a no-go. Do we know if anyone has taken delivery of a carbon steering wheel with a leather rim? I'd love to show a picture to my...
Back in November the dealer told me they had a GTS sedan allocation they were switching over to a GTS ST for me. Then production timeline was just issued on 4/13. I’m at $7,500 over MSRP. I had put a deposit down on a CT Turbo, but that dealer wanted $20,000 over MSRP for a GTS ST.
Update on my GTS Sport Turismo:
*Deposit placed 11/29/21 (had to look this up)
*Build Locks 05/13/22
*Vehicle Completion Est. 06/24/22
*At Dealer Est. 08/26/22
Build Code: PNZ6KTP6

Placed my order for a GTS ST back in January. At the time the dealer was saying the vehicle would be built in May with an estimated delivery in July. As of last week, the dealer indicates "There is still no estimated dates on production or delivery quite yet." So I'm a bit confused/annoyed.
Not sure if there is a "most frivolous build award" available on the forum, but if so I'd like to submit mine for consideration. Highlights include:
* Olea Club Leather
* Deviated Stitching
* Carbon fiber mirrors, interior trim, and steering wheel
* puddle light projectors
* painting the...
Love that you are going PTS Oak Green! Came very close to pulling the trigger on that color but decided I'd reserve it for the 911 Targa I'm daydreaming about. Kuddos on your excellent taste! I think the grey wheels will look fabulous...but I'd (personally) pass on the Bordeaux seat belts...
