I am selling my second PMCC that I bought when my other chargers was being replaced by Porsche. In the meantime I have installed additional Tesla Charger in my garage and have too many mobile charges so no need of this one.
It was recently updated to the latest FW by my dealer. Both Cables...
interested to see what you think of it. I have been looking at those for quote sometime, not really related to Taycan as I usually find peaceful at times to wash my car myself.
Perhaps, only time will show. Well aware of the clones, but not sure if I would trust independent shop with hacked SW. Now if they have done the investment for factory approved SW, I might consider it. I am not talking about maintenance items, which average savvy person can do.
CT Garage is...
even the current shops are getting out of business as they can't keep up with all the new SW on ICE cars. Just buying the right equipment that is getting more and more specialized by the brands is getting pretty expensive
there are plenty of people who track the Taycan. I don't believe @DerekS was really used by people who know how to drive on track. If you have been to any of performance driving schools. They have a lot fast acceleration and slam on the brakes multiple times. Which is probably not the best for...
My personal experience and opinion. We have both, Taycan EV and PHEV X5 45e hybrid that we use for long family trips. When we go on long trips, I still have range anxiety and don't want to depend on EV charging in area I am not familiar with. Finding a gas station is much much easier. 99% of the...
Taking notes about RWC. I have heard from few of my friends that bring their cars there because of the service and how good their techs are. I have been using SC purely from convenience so far.
Don't let this to discourage you to enjoy the amazing car. Unfortunately every dealer failed you, which is really sad given that usually the dealer is what makes the brand. I am really sad to hear about Los Gatos. I usually use Stevens Creek who has the same owner group. As you mentioned I...
Your car must have been one of those used in the performance school. It seem like was already by Porsche and wasn’t specific dealer. I would ask the dealer you bought the car from to be transparent and share is the car was in fact one of those. I am sure Porsche will take care of it.
It mostly works for cars that you don't drive everyday. If that is your daily I wouldn't advise. But if that is your 3rd car that is mainly garage queen , people have gone away with it.
You should come see one of those cars and coffee in NorCal half of the exotic cars are with Montana license...
Looking at the Monroney label, the car was ordered by the Porsche HQ. It could have been one of those cars used for demo or by the porsche performance center.
Yeah they always have at least couple of Porsches and yeah they did my Taycan too :)
@DerekS I can’t recommend enough https://dynamicdetailing.com/ . Dan the owner throws tons of events and works with Porsche of Club of A and Golden Gate chapter. They have been doing all my cars since I can remember. Their shop is super clean and has one of the best waiting room areas. Check it out.
