Gotta say I’m jealous of you all. Dropped 20 turbo off on Aug 16 and just today promised would start on mine tomorrow. Tysons Corner Porsche said they are not taking anymore service appointments until work through backlog…. Have 7 Taycans currently in queue to update, which is not going well.
Well, have had the loaner Macan since Aug 16. Talked to service tech on Friday and said they had gotten okay from regional office to once again try the update. Keeping fingers crossed. No clue as to why this is taking so long besides the usual excuse of software crashing during install.
Booked an appointment for recalls and LTE disconnecting issue a month in advance. Dropped car off last Tuesday with a loner provided and they have yet to start working on car a week later. Heading out of town for two weeks so guess they will be out of a car for awhile. What the heck is going on...
You are getting off easy, just have mine in for recalls and inspection at 2 year point and they want $1500 for 20k service. MY20 Turbo only has 10k miles, think I will wait till next year at best!.
Bumping this thread in the hopes someone else is experiencing the intermittent LTE dropouts and has a fix. Taking car back in for annual in May and will insist they play the internet radio for at least 5 minutes to demonstrate the issue. Signal always comes back but will drop again later.
In the new my porsche app i cannot find a way to add a new profile. I have two currently, home and general. Has anyone tried to add a third? And to top it off Im unable to edit the two profiles.

I must be missing something but how the heck do you create an additional profile in the new app. I have two set up, General Location independant and Home preferred time carried over from the old app.. I would like to setup another location with preferred.
In the Porsche Connect app there is a choice of dynamic, google or Apple Maps for First/ Last Mile Navigation. What does this option do? What is dynamic?
Now that Matrix is legal in the US how can we get the functionality activated on MY20? Paid for the function and am willing to pay for activation. I’m in DC area so if anyone knows of a shop that can do it please reach out. Thanks

What is WMH0 update? So I assume the software update did not fix the LTE dropouts. How did you convince the dealer to replace the comm unit. Think it’s going to be a fight on my end as it’s so intermittent.
Has anyone attempted to install a MagSafe charger in the storage area in front of the console? Would seem to be a better place as easy to place phone and not have the overheating issue while charging and using Apple car play. Have given up on the wireless charging and just place my phone on long...
I hope there is a software update as my LTE just drops the signal randomly. Have Verizon phone which never drops at signal when the Taycan does. Hope this is an over the air and not a dealership update.

Has anyone else have this happen where the LTE signal just drops and you see the two opposing arrows of no coverage? I’m thinking a defective communications module as my Verizon phone has constant signal and Verizon is suppling the Taycan. I can stand still and the signal comes back again and...
Has anyone experienced random LTE dropouts after the last set of updates? My LTE phone always has signal but the onboard cell drops intermittently at no particular location. I’m in DC area, I’m thinking something funky is going on with the head unit as signal strength is always good on my iPhone.
