Same at home - I’m getting 0.3. On 2 different Instavolt 100W chargers that I used this week (one in Norfolk and one in Oxon) they both started off at c2.5 and built up quite quickly to 3.8/3.9, but once they got to 80% charged they dropped back to just under 3.
Just looked on the App on the...
Because I’m a Northern tight arse I’ve only been putting in what I need on public chargers, but tonight I’m staying in Surrey and the accom has free chargers so will fill my boots. I’m expecting/hoping for c250 miles. At home I’ve only been charging to 85% as recommended, but that is giving me...
Currently up to 840 miles - this week will be doing another 800+ as seeing clients in Suffolk/Oxon/Surrey/Dorset/Avon. If only I had time to do a survey :-)
Dave - my sound is working as well so I think that I’m just short of the spare key and WC like you. Might be others things but will only know these i when I realise they aren’t there as doubt that Porsche will tell me !!
Finally got a response from my dealer (having collected my 4S last week) -
There is an open campaign for the wireless charging. Therefore once Porsche get the parts you will be notified
My dealer told me the same ie only key missing. I emailed him earlier and he seemed not to know about the WC missing :-( Had car 3 days - as Tony the Tiger would say “its greeeaaattttttttt”
I am working on the basis that range anxiety like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and Porsche producing cars on time is a myth....................
I have already got into the EV mindset - got 5 different hotels booked over the next 2 weeks and my main search criteria was "do you have a charging...
Dave - it was with ALA (with the 25% discount). It's for £50k (max it offered) of Contract Hire GAP cover. Maybe your premium is higher as a Turbo and, therefore, is the cover more than £50k ?
I feel a bit like a kid on Xmas Eve (or more accurately 23rd Dec) as picking it up on Thurs from...
Dave - I’ve just got my 4 year GAP insurance for £199 on the 4S I’m having on a business contract hire. Effectively its £1 per week so hopefully not going to break the bank……
As a matter of interest, who came up with a good quote ? I ended up with Admiral (a few others were cheaper, but wouldn't insure as my 4S is a business lease). Still trying to decide if also need GAP insurance.
Dave - enjoy it. I have a similar production profile to yours and mine is ready to be collected at the dealers early next week (minus the spare key). Hopefully, will be a great week - new 4S and Europe win in The Ryder Cup (apologies to our American forum friends !!).
I also got the call from my dealer yesterday 9m after paying my deposit - picking it up early next week. Mines complete other than the spare key.
Hope everyone else gets their’s as soon as possible.
I asked the dealer what was missing and he said just the spare key, so fingers crossed that is correct - other than perf battery plus and pano, I added things like folding mirrors, sound, power steering plus, electric port covers, ambient lighting, park assist with SV - all told was about £10k...
I've just chased my dealer and he advises me that the tracker shows that the car has arrived in Grimsby and that they will receive it "within a few days". The 9 month wait might finally be over !!!!
It would be great to know how their systems work - I put c£10k of options on mine, but c£6k of this was the performance battery & pano roof. All very frustrating especially as I handed back my 6 Series in early July (on the basis that I was assured that my 4S would be getting delivered in July)...
Ali - as far as I know, UK buyers don't have the same facility as US buyers with their online TYD reports. Therefore, we are totally reliant on what the dealers tell us. I have only seen my progress report once 6/7 weeks ago when the dealer sent it to me (in desperation I assume) when 2 weeks...
Clearly, Porsche don't understand as their post-ordering care is abysmal - if I treated my clients like this, I wouldn't be able to afford a Porsche as I would have no clients !
However, as my wife keeps telling me "it's a 1st world problem".
