This might help, there is another page by Porsche which shows a 3-year plan with ionity. I will dig that out.
More than 200 Ionity fast-charging parks are already in operation along motorways and main traffic routes in Europe. By the end of 2020, the number is expected to be around 400...
Sorry you are having this problem.
This is coming up far too often. I wonder if one could put a return car contract in place with a dealer if this happened a new car, given most deny its an issue. Probably not but worth a go.
I reckon I might be on my own here but I drive a lot around Silverstone and track days and I never look at the dash or a HUD. It all detracts from the feel of the car and engine. As EV is worse for feeling the car as its so damned silent, perhaps HUD helps more on EVs?
I did get some good news. Apparently, a memorandum has been sent to Porsche dealers that January deliveries will not be hit with a price hike despite Brexit and possibly not at all. It's a bit "loose" but it sounds like they may have found a workaround.
Yes I did consider that but other than going carbon fibre which isn't an option, I think black is still better than silver, peronsal opinion of course.
Looks fantastic. I am not convinced about the 150 charger either but ordered it just in case.
The only addition and it's free, is: Door Sill Guards brushed Aluminium in Black if you wanted the black similar to window surrounds?
Mine just sent me this :(
Status showing as ‘ Port Emden’ – see below.
It’s not looking very likely that it will arrive here any time soon as lots of the cars are being held back at the ports in Germany and the UK. Hope to have more of an update next week for you.
Ho-hum, if it doesn't arrive...
I wanted Red leather but was not plucky enough, sure it's awesome to sit in but the wife would have smacked my bottom if I chose it (I also wanted carmine red and wasn't allowed that either :CWL:).
Having had the Model 3, I really enjoyed autopilot and still use it when grabbing my sunglasses or...
Hi, I have a similar car on order with Bristol, it's built and sitting in a port somewhere - hopefully in my hands before Brexit but not entirely hopeful. I will have to see what happens.
This is mine, what wheels did you get, be good to get your full spec if you have time...
Sounds like you both got it just about right time wise. It's touch and go as to whether mine will land in time. Dealer suspects they can assign car to me as soon as it hits the UK port.
Agreed. I have owned Tesla's and frankly, I don't think they make 400-mile cars either. I don't really see anyone can, it's down to the pure maths of EV cars - yes tyres and drag all make differences but put a 19" Tesla 100D (400 stated range) here in a UK winter on a motorway at 70/80mph and...
I have learnt something there. I even wrote to Ionity to ask them about prices and they didn't mention this. That makes a huge difference, thank you for that enlightenment.
My biggest gripe with Ionity is the price. At £0.69 per kwh they are three times the price of a tesla charger and a whopping 14 times the price of off-peak overnight charging. I think the realistic range of a Taycan 200/250 miles suits UK roads fairly well, so this shouldn't be a big issue as...
