Forgive me but it troubles me that this issue still exists. Should I still buy the car? Its a bit like saying your 100k ICE car fails to start randomly vs my 10k vw up starts every time. You are paying a premium NOT to have these problems.
I also started this and thought no one had...
I will be following a similar path in a few years, I am getting the Porsche out of the system and will be onto off the grid living next. Waiting for a plot to turn up. Good luck!
Not sure about anywhere else but in the UK Tayans are and will remain fairly hard to get your hands on (Porsche restricting numbers), plus the delivery timescales are getting longer.
If you can get your hands on a new one before 2021 you also ensure escaping the looming extra 10% import tax...
I spoke to my dealer about this and they said if there was an increase in price and I wasn't happy I could walk from the deal unencumbered. He said there would be something sortable though, so I think there is wriggle room if no deal and 10% comes to fruition, which they believe is unlikely but...
If I had to sign up to another 10%, I would walk. Happy enough with current car. You can basically kiss goodbye to another 10% in depreciation. I wonder why they haven't asked me?
Thought I would start this poll and send the results to Porsche to make sure it is fixed. It appears to be the main serious issue with the car.
If anyone has had any issues with this please report on this poll.
Ordered mine a week or so ago and told early Jan but best to wait for April for the new plate. I am fine either way as I love my Model 3 performance in the mean time.
Both good calls, storage pack makes sense and I did toy with the painted wheels, I suspect you are right they would look nice. Might pop into Porsche and see if they have anything to look at. Thank you for looking everyone.
Can I just pass this spec by you guys as I have little time to alter - it's about the looks rather than anything else

Hi there, I have a Tesla home charger with a type 2 lead - will it charge a Taycan? I don't see why not - both use Type 2 but is there some TESLA ONLY tech inside that stops it from charging other cars?
