It doesn't highlight cars. NVA will show an image with warmer objects as brighter in grayscale. What it does on top of that is recognize people/bicyclists/animals and highlight them with a yellow box overlay so you notice them. It doesn't do that for cars. It technically could be possible, I...
I don't think you'll find a clear consensus. As mentioned above, this is a popular topic in other EV owner forums. If anything, the only consensus is what to not do, which is run the battery down close to zero and charge up to 100% regularly outside of long road trips.
Plugging in every night...

Omitting a motor cuts about 20% off the Taycan price compared to the least-expensive AWD Taycan in China. Were the same math to apply here, the Taycan RWD would start at around $85,000. Queried by American...
Profile and Timer give you two parts that come together in the way you have proposed.
1. Set a Profile to have a Minimum of 40%. Enable this by ‘checking’ it.
2. Set a Timer with a Target of 85% and the time you want that target to be reached. Enable this too by ‘checking’ it.
When you...
The battery's range will be one half of the equation... your regular needs will be the other half. If the equation of [Range] - [Regular Needs] gives a positive result, then you have something that is practical. But if its negative, then it won't be.
For me personally, the vast majority of my...
I think yes and no... the one key factor that comes to mind is weight. The Taycan does outstanding things to keep its weight under control, but the physics are an inherent disadvantage. As battery tech continues to improve and energy density increases and/or efficiency of consumption improves...
I think this is going to be specific to the installer... I agree that it could have been done more completely. Some installers will be much more skilled at this than others.
For reference, since my Taycan PPF is in progress, here is an example from my Model X... you don't see the PPF stop...
Just checked my phone and you may be right... in the Maps app on iPhone I can see that I can send a map location to the Connect app. Will have to try it when my car comes back from PPF and also see if it works when the car is in the garage but can't link to LTE from in there.
My understanding is that there is a Hold function in the Taycan, but only for upward slopes. The Model X will Hold at any stop regardless of the grade. Are you able to get your Taycan to hold at any stop (maybe I'm not jamming firmly enough on the brake pedal)?
Adding my thoughts so far to this thread... I've had my 4S for just over three weeks now. With no work commute currently and our region covered in smoke recently, I've accrued 314 miles to date with driving mainly on weekends. My car is now in for PPF and tint, so it's a wait once more before...
Interesting - our Model X had a full XPEL PPF treatment and you cannot see seams like this, as the PPF wraps around the edges. My Taycan goes in tomorrow from the same shop... will have to see how they do on this car.
July/Aug 2018 - Taycan Option Deposit program starts and I get on the local dealer's waitlist. They are not asking for any deposit for this. Dealer says I'm probably over 100 people down on their list.
Feb 2020 - Dealer gets a demo car so we go and check it out. What about the waitlist? Oh...
Are you routing the USB-C cable from the armrest storage area? It doesn't appear to me that you can close the armrest and still have the cable come out.
The diamond button on the steering wheel can be reassigned to a new function (such as to ‘next track’) if you hold it down.
After backing out of the garage, the surround view should automatically go away after you go into Drive and start moving forward. But you should also see an ‘X’ to close...
During delivery, my 16 character password didn’t work. My adviser recommended that longer passwords were troublesome, and to use a shorter one with only an exclamation point as the special character. I changed accordingly to a 9 character password and everything went well after that.
I also set...
