I’ve covered this in another thread as my car came without it and it was something that I had spec’s on my original order.
What you get:
Lower door pockets on all the time.
Door handles on all the time.
Footwell lights on with roof lights. Then they go out.
That’s it.

It means that just because a no-name alloy wheel manufacturer in China (who illegally copies Porsches designs), says that they’re forged, doesn’t mean that they actually are, and the fact that you yourself wouldn’t purchase said items...
The problem is that this is like buying a fake watch. The design is Porsches which means that it’s illegal to copy them exactly and so the wheels are made by no-name manufacturers in China, which means little incentive to adhere to quality standards and anything else.
It also means that wheels...
There’s two screws that hold the headlight in place. Either one or both are loose or the headlight hasn’t been properly fitted at the factory before the screws have been tightened.
Wheel and arch liner need to come out to gain access. I’d get the dealer to sort it. Will take them an hour max.
My original GTS order has landed at Porsche Glasgow and is for sale for anyone interested:
Its currently the only brand-new GTS saloon in stock in the country and they're selling it at the pre-price increase cost...
There's a bit of confusion here. Partly because standard equipment differs across different territories and due to differences in vernacular referring to different parts and options. What I'm about to say here only relates to the UK market and the GTS as I've no certain knowledge on anything...
On your satisfaction survey, there's a question that specifically asks if you were invited to attend a Masterclass (2nd handover). Pretty redundant I reckon as most proper enthusiasts already know as much as the sales person by they time the collect and more than they do after a week or two.
I've purchased additional LED drivers the same as those already present in the doors. All that's needed is to power these from the same harness as the existing, so no coding required.
I had it specc'd on my factory order but due to delays took a different car (another cancelled order) and unfortunately it doesn't have ambient lighting either, so I've been investigating this. there is a void in the door card to accommodate the ambient lighting optical strip but it's not...
Puddle lights are on the bottom of the door mirrors. If you spec ambient lighting, you get an additional light at the bottom of the interior door car, in place of a red reflector.
There is a connector inside the door car for the optional light (which is where you'd put your projector light in...
Neither are bad choices to be honest.
Depends what you want. Silvers, greys, navy blues, blacks whilst perfectly handsome, all disappear in traffic. My last two cars were black and I wanted something bolder. Was a toss-up between Carmine and Neptune and I ended up with Neptune.
I feel like...
Something like 90% of Taycan owners in the UK are businesses, which is being driven by the 1st year corporation tax credit for EVs.
This is the reason why the Taycan is Porsche's best seller in the UK and why the UK is the second biggest market in the world for them. When the government changes...
