I was told the same thing by my dealer and decided to call Porsche Connect myself 800-767-7243. The only issue I was told by the very nice agent on the phone was Porsche waiting to switch from AT&T to VZW for the Hotspot - which I could care less about. They assisted me in getting me connected...
As embarrassing as it may sound, maybe I'm just not understanding what the manual says about this. How did you program your seats to do that? To be clear, when you shut the car off the seat moves back and steering wheel moves up to allow better exit/entry? And when entering, the wheel remains up...
Thanks again, wemct.
I did read this previously in the manual (actually several times) and experience the same conclusion that when one exits the car with the seats set as stated, when returning to the car, one must press the numbered memory button on the door to return the seat settings as...
Unlike my Panamera Turbo, the Taycan does NOT have the ability to have the seat settings set to a key! ONLY to buttons 1 or 2 on the door. In other words, my wife prefers to leave the seat settings as they are and have less room with the steering wheel not going up and seats not going back as...
Although they look the same, they are slightly different. One is the 14-30 Taycan plug and the other is a 14-50 plug for the Panamera e-Hybrid that was mistakenly ordered for me when I ordered the 10-50 for my wife's 4S. See my post #30 response to wemct who couldn't have been more helpful in...
Thanks very much for all your help!!! I am also away but will be back in the morning and will double check what part # my 14-50 plug says.
You’ve been a great help! Enjoy wherever you are and be safe!!
Wow. Now I’m thinking they ordered the wrong 14-50 plug. Would you mind taking close up photo of the inside part of 14-50 plug? There’s a model code inside. Really appreciate it...
Thanks in advance!
Make sure you get the 14-50 plug/cable and the module that goes along with it!!!!
My dealer was sent the 14-30 plug per Porsche training pre COVID, manual says should be 14-50. Dealer was kind enough to get me the 14-50 plug after my pointing out to them but it doesn’t fit the module it came...
Yes, VZW - also confirmed today by a Porsche Connect rep on the phone who was assisting me getting the car connected today. She had no other info other than WiFi is waiting for the switchover from AT&T.
My Taycan 4S was delivered last Saturday. Was told by the dealer today, who was told directly by a Porsche rep, that WiFi/Hotspot will not be available in Taycans until Nov. 2021 possibly sooner. Here in USA anyway.
Any truth to this?? Makes no sense to me. I was initially told on Saturday that...
Would anyone happen to know someone in the Northern NJ area that installs EV home chargers? Yes, I know, all I would need is a good electrician but I'm looking for someone who already has experience in installing EV chargers in the home (garage). Wife's 4S is due in next week and would like to...
Very nice, Ken! If/when this occurs please take loads of photos/videos for us folks on the right coast. This gentleman is a true trailblazer and deserves every bit of our appreciation and celebrate his groundbreaking Taycan adventure!!
Thanks
