I live up in the Glens and the roads have always been a bit rough due to being out in the cuds but, the potholes that have appeared elsewhere are becoming a real hazard.
Sorry to hear you fell foul of one and I know I’ll be trying to keep a watchful eye but it’s almost impossible in some...
Sorry to hear that Adrian but at least it's being sorted before rather than after delivery I suppose.
I spoke with my SA about it and he confirmed it was checked during the PDI. It's been working ok for the past 24 hours. Time will tell but, I won't let it bug me. The car's too much fun for...
So, having ordered my CT4S in December 2021 I sat back happy in the knowledge that my new pride and joy would arrive in August the next year. A bit of a wait but, all good things come to those that wait. Then, the proverbial hit the fan. Chip shortages, an indecent invasion of a neighbour and a...
The Turbo S standard spec gives you a very nice build from the off and I agree that the green/red combo is a nice touch.
As Paul says above, the B pillar Race-Tex option carries it down nicely from the roof and gets rid of the easily scratched (and rather cheap looking imho) plastic offering...
I just posted in there as well lol and noticed how the other car looked in comparison. It's been mentioned before about how the Gentian Blue changes shade and even takes on a purplish hue in different light? One of the reasons I went for it to be honest.
Check out this thread HERE. Focusses on collection but there should be a few helpful pointers in the list (which is very long by the way............... ;)).
Mine is ready and waiting. Collecting on 13 Feb all being well and going through the same thoughts....
So, I still haven't collected the car due to work committments but my SA has been sending me photos as the car goes through its preparation. The wait is killing me lol.
Here's a few I received last night:
The car has had it's paint correction, PPF fitted and ceramic coatings with the...
I’ve gone slate grey with my gentian blue but haven’t seen or heard of too many volcano greys with it. Most seem to be black or very light.
How about the red - classic combo?
Must admit I would never have thought about slate grey but, why the hell not. If you like it, go for it. ?
I don't mind the look of it but I wouldn't see it as between the 911 and Taycan. It is what it is, a Maserati tourer; instantly recognisable and rather nice on the eye.
For me, one of the main appeals about the Taycan is its striking looks. It turns heads and has that new, futuristic wow...
Possible causes of the sound for sure but, I don't think they would explain the vibration/buzzing feeling in the steering wheel described by the OP? Could be a combination of things though.
As above. I would politely request a drive of their demo car with the SA/Service Manager/Tech alongside followed by a drive of your own, also with them present. Maybe then they'll suddenly be able to acknowledge it's not a characteristic...........
Long enough old wait. I also ordered in December '21 and the car was delivered earlier this month.
Ask your SA to print off/send you the Key Event Timeline they have on their computer. The dates can move somewhat but it at least gives you an idea of what's planned.
My build arrived earlier this month and below is the final spec sheet. It has Bose fitted but as you can see, the 'x' is beside it.
When Porsche decided to remove Bose from UK builds last year, there was quite a bit of confusion about which models it applied to. I was only able to confirm...
