Doran, people go on forums to vent/complain. I have owned a Tesla Model S a P90D and presently a Model 3 Performance and have had almost no problems...and, when I did have a problem, they fixed it immediately with a loaner. This is why Tesla has the highest rated satisfaction of any car...
I had read in one of the press releases as well as my dealer telling me that Porsche was not going to have OTA updates like Tesla as their software was not set up that way. Has anyone read anything different because OTA updates on the Taycan would be excellent and an advantage like Tesla has.
Just saw this on the Tesla site and is clearly made by a Tesla biased person but does show what Tesla has done in their short time as a Car/EV manufacturer vs. the ICE car companies now working on EV’s, specifically Porsche as they are now coming out with the Taycan and a true Performance EV...

I was at my dealer in NJ yesterday and they are high volume and no nothing. The owner is going overseas in early October to get a review of the car and everything that goes along with it. They also have to install a half million AC and DC charging system.
So, everything else is speculation...
I have been on this forum for a while reading (and a deposit holder of a Taycan) and now have decided to respond based on this discussion as range has always been important to me just as much as style of the car and who is building it. I love all cars that have style, can handle, accelerate and...
