I was just thinking about Porsche having a plan for upgrades to older models as it would mitigate the depreciation on these vehicles - there’s simply no sustainability with Taycans if the depreciation curves continue to be this steep , throw us a bone and we’ll continue to be loyal customers
I’ve had my 23 GTS for 20 months now and i absolutely love it BUT I never in a million years thought I’d miss ventilated cooled seats, I regret not checking that box. Anyone have any option regrets? Something they wish they didn’t spend $ on or vice versa ?
Should definitely not be the case. From my understanding the GTS has obviously more power but the gearing is a bit different too which should only heighten the difference in “feel”
It’s definitely improved” outside of styling - the question you need to ask yourself is if you value the Gen2 enough to justify the 50k+ delta in price coupled with huge “soon to be” depreciation curve over gen 1. For me, it’s simple, not even close - absolutely not
To much $ for a “base” Taycan. Buy a gently used higher spec CPO for less. Unless they can give you a “special deal” on financing or give you the 7500 credit somehow which is long gone it’s an extremely mediocre “deal”
You’ve already taken a beating on your Taycan, you will only lose more $ by jumping into a Macan especially if you buy it. Stop the bleeding, enjoy your Taycan , keep it 4 or 5 years as the depreciation will flatten. A fidelity warranty which is just about identical to a factory warranty will...
If you’re only concerned with the “drive quality” The delta is just to large in my opinion. If you have $ to burn sure, go for it - but it seems like what u initially drove struck a chord with you - save the extra $, invest it, go on a few vacations with it - just my 2 cents
In my opinion it’s Only worth buying a new car if you have lots of $ to burn or you plan keeping for minimum of 5 years. I bought at an awkward time in which I got got the 7500 rebate, and was able to get exactly what I paid for my Tesla 4 years later - I’d say I’m uniquely ahead if I kept my...
Not sure why paying the car off gives you any leverage when trading car in? The only way not to get crushed on this car is to keep to 4 or 5 year point - other than that be prepared to lose some significant $ trading in
An average gain of 50-60 miles and less attractive car doesn’t get me excited - how is lucid pulling performance AND huge range ? How come Porsche hasn’t figured that out yet ?
