Good to hear you are safe. Porsche really makes excellent, safe cars! All that racing experience helps in both performance and safety.
  2. How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love My Taycan

Here, here! I've had my Taycan for over 4 years. I still get a real thrill everytime I get in the car, but I get how others could be down when they have issues and one natural reaction is "gee, I hope that doesn't also happen to me", but that doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the car...
  3. ARB0- my dealership told me there was no remedy at this time

that is why I suggested contacting them first to confirm they have the parts in stock.
  4. ARB0- my dealership told me there was no remedy at this time

Steven's Creek Porsche. Check with them before going in to make sure they still have inventory.
  5. ARB0- my dealership told me there was no remedy at this time

I am in Norcal. I just had my brake hose repair done as well as the replacement cable for the charger. It is all about when they have parts available.
  6. APB6 - are the cables available ?

I was in for service last week (northern cal) and was told they still don't have them. Some others reported they got the replacement, so they may be trickling in.
  7. Just picked up a Model 3 Performance ...

If you are so triggered that you have to incorrectly imply that their opinions don't echo mine, maybe you should hit the ignore button. I partially agree with the of "I think if they put this across the line to other Model 3s and Ys, they'll sell a another bazillion of them." I think they will...
  8. Just picked up a Model 3 Performance ...

That is a really low bar. Why are you posting here? There are plenty of places where you can talk about how much you love your Tesla.
  9. Recall in Germany: Possible leaks and cell defects in high-voltage battery

Oh wait, you are right. The the P=2020, the S=2023. I thought this was just for the 2020 model which is why I made my comment. So this is even more useless since on the one hand it says model numbers from 2020 to 2023 that are the "ABY1" trim, on the other they say only 600 cars affected.
  10. Recall in Germany: Possible leaks and cell defects in high-voltage battery

Yeah, doesn't seem useful. I get that it isn't sequential (e.g. some serial numbers like 40000 may not be used), but I would expect the beginning number (A50078) to be less than the ending number (A36740). edit. I didn't realize this for multiple years, the L=2020, the P=2023, so what this...
  11. Recall in Germany: Possible leaks and cell defects in high-voltage battery

Hi, Where do they have the VIN range listed? I haven't been able to find that. I have a 2020 4S. Thanks
  12. Recall in Germany: Possible leaks and cell defects in high-voltage battery

The notice mentioned cars going back to 2020. I am curious as to why that would be - there must me something in their process that they flagged that has it going back to 2020, across models, but only affecting 600 cars. I think it may be Johan on line 2 during the late shift.
  13. Teen Driver Rolls Taycan at 100 MPH

and a smart person would understand that correlation is not causation.
  14. Teen Driver Rolls Taycan at 100 MPH

Don't be that person. Alcohol and youth explain it all. his post brought to you by a non-asian driver.
  15. Recall in Germany: Possible leaks and cell defects in high-voltage battery

From that link, it looks like they are only replacing some modules, not the battery and only about 606 cars are affected if you are affected, they will notify you by May 17th
  16. Teen Driver Rolls Taycan at 100 MPH

I would be surprised if the parents gave her permission to drive. I have a hard time believing any parent who can afford a Taycan wouldn't just for an Uber for a late night party. Although since the other passengers were 19 and 20, it is possible this was her car (graduation gift) and she...
  17. Taycan Tuning in Southern California

oh geez, looks like I know my birthday gift..this is so tempting...so tempting....
  18. AAPL CarPlay not recognizing charge level

For Electrify America, I think you need to just set up an app on the phone I have had the same problem with the charging info. I thought it had to do with updates to the phone, but after I charge the car, it takes a while for Apple to realize what the new charging level is. I tried...
