I’ve heard of dealers letting customers sit in their cars but not drive them away! I’ll believe it when I start driving home!!

I called Porsche directly and they told me the same. Its in a ‘quality control hold.’ Mines been at the Jacksonville port also now for over 3 weeks. They couldn’t tell me anything else.

Mine was built April 5th. Arrived at the port May 11th. I’ve been given a maybe date of June 21st but was told that’s really just a placeholder and they may not know until the car physically gets to them…so I’m way past my 50 days and it’s still just sitting at the port for god knows what…

Both. TYD and dealer said the same. It hasn’t updated in almost a month so I’m not holding out hope it’s going to happen that way…

Mines there too. Mines scheduled to arrive on June 1 so we'll see if that happens or not...

I’m now on week 3 at the port with no updates from my SA. I was told ‘the system says delivery is June 1st so don’t ask again.’ I guess I’ll lay low this week and see what happens by Friday…

Thx. I’m assuming then mine is also stuck for the same reason at the port. 2 weeks and counting still. Unfortunately no one is returning my calls with any info.

Is Sheerness the port the car comes through before getting to your dealer?

Did they mention if this can only be done by dealer/PEC or if they’re also doing the cars at the port? Mine has been sitting in port for 2 weeks now. I had originally planned on PEC delivery but was told they’re backed up into late July already.

My delivery date is June 2 so hopefully that still happens!
