Should maybe add that our effective "price lock" was at contract signing, I was still able to modify spec. several times after this all up to production lock in October without any price adjustments (there was no price change on equipment, only base price)
We ordered in July 22 and the SA tipped us off to be quick about it, as there was a price increase for MY 23 of 3K the following week. Locked the order, car produced in Oct/Nov, delivered in December as MY 23 at contract price. No issues
No price increase in Norway either yet, but due to VAT increase and introduction of a weight component from 2023, consumer price is already drastically up and new car sales have imploded so they may have to keep the old price for now
I specced the Burmester, whilst a huge improvement over the Bose, it is definitely not HiFi. Have tried BT, Android Auto (wifi) and disc with high res. No problem noticing the improvement in quality between the 3 in that order, however thats at standstill. On the move I can hardly discern any...
Also tried the EQE AMG 43 when we started our EV journey, was really impressed. Had hybrids for years but this was the first pure EV I ever tried, then tried the I4 and IX. All excellent transportation items, but still just that. Coming from Norway, a "fun" car has never been an option due to...
Porsche aside, all the other lets say lower high end brands like MB, Audi and BMW claim to be configurable, but bundling make them almost as static as others. MB EQE: want sun roof? Sorry you cant have trailer hitch. Want acoustic glacing? BAM! Add premium + pack at 9K including necessities like...
Theres a small protrusion underneath the handle. Its my understanding that is the sensor. When touching this the handles present. On the driver side however it only works now and then, and I often have to to try 2-4 times for it to react. All other doors work as intended, amd yes I have tried to...
Actually after posting I called Porsche center to get an appointment. 5 min. Later and it resolved itself. Thought they reset something but no. Not cancelling the appointment though. Almost 2 months wait and heater will probably break during this time ?
Agree with your comment for summer, but come winter driving on snow and ice or gravel for that matter, balance and tuning of different cars is very noticable, and the limits are easily reached even when driving cautiously due to unexpected shifts in road and traction conditions. Tuning for...
Here is a summary of all the tests they have done,:
Alll cars with performance battery +, same route:
2020 summer T ~20C, Taycan 4S on 21' 475km
2021 winter T 0 - -5C, Taycan 4S on 21' 385km
2022 summer T 7-15C, CT4 on 21' 403km
2022 winter 0 - -10C, CT4 on 20' 402km
The 2022 results seems...
This is true, but the manual mentions separate temperature control for the footwell. Not so relevant for many owners but had it previously on Audi and BMW and its really a big plus in winter time, long distance and heavy winter boots - being able to direct some chill air down there is a bonus
Not sure but when looking at videos, it seems like the vent positioning of the diffused and concentrated are the same as soft and strong. But there are differences between 2 and 4 zone also for the front. I was looking for the individual footwell control which I miss and it says "equipment...
Have a 2023 CT 4S, and was wondering about tbe same thing. Also dont have the 4 zone. I do suspect that its a new thing for MY 2023 as the manual looks like in your pic, but it covers both 2 and 4 zone. If chosing "soft" You get what I believe is diffused while "strong" is directed at you with...
Brand new CT 4S, so not sure if range improves after 3000km or so but did some testing to see relative difference art different temps. Mix of B road and highway. Average consumption at different temperatures roughly:
Temp. -2 deg C - ~.26kw/km
Temp -15 deg C ~. 31kw/km
Temp +5 deg C ~.23kw/km...
Interesting thread. Have a 4S CT. Completely new to Porsche and my biggest mistake was not signing on to this eminent forum until after my order. All my test drives were in CT4 (not S) as the sedan is not an option for us so no reference to the AWD vs RWD discussion. Snow and ice half of the the...
I should add to my prev. Post that for the cold run (-15) battery temp was +18 after preheat at start, and somewhere below 0 when returning. I forgot to check battery temp at start from B, but was abt 0 after a few km. Seems that big battery lump is a proper heat sink, I would asume a much...
Pretty new to the car and only put abt. 1000km on it and if I understand correctly, consumption improves once "broken in". But did an unscientific test last week. Took a roundtrip of 120km each way. It was consistently between -13 and -18C during this trip and the elevation same at point A and...
